DJ Mickey Mouse Remixing Disney Songs

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy have become DJs, remixing Disney tunes into colorful stories at this all-new, state-of-the-art ice show. This production invites guests to belt out Disney’s chart-topping tunes, as their favorite stories are brought to life on and above the ice.

Disney On Ice

For now, the show’s name is presented as “Disney On Ice” without any subtitle. The production’s first stop will be in Orlando, Fla. on Labor Day Weekend (full tour dates below).

In addition to Mickey and pals, the show will spotlight characters from “The Little Mermaid,” “The Lion King,” “Moana,” “Frozen 2,” and “Wish.” During the “Wish” scenes, Valentino the goat and King Magnifico will make their live character debuts, joining Asha and Star, who are already part of another Disney On Ice show. (Asha also appears in various Disney theme parks.)

Guests can purchase access to an add-on experience to meet Elsa and Anna before the show. Feld Entertainment produces Disney On Ice in partnership with Disney.

Characters and Songs in the New Disney On Ice Show

The upcoming tour will feature the following films, characters, and songs (this list may be incomplete).

The Little Mermaid

  • Characters: Ariel, Sebastian, Prince Eric, Ariel’s seven sisters
  • Songs: “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl”

“The Lion King”

  • Characters: Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Scar
  • Songs: “Circle of Life,” “Be Prepared,” “Hakuna Matata”

Note: The concept art below depicts Zazu from “The Lion King” in the form of a kite. Fans may recognize this exact visual as Zazu’s kite from “Disney KiteTails,” a now-defunct show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. We asked a representative about this, who confirmed with Feld Entertainment that the kite in the artwork is merely for reference. Disney On Ice will “depict Zazu in kite form,” Feld said, but will not use the same prop from “KiteTails.” Everything in the new show “will be custom-made specifically for our ice production.”

“Moana”

  • Characters: Moana, Maui, Hei Hei, Tamatoa
  • Songs: “How Far I’ll Go,” “We Know the Way,” “You’re Welcome,” “Shiny”
