While Universal Orlando Resort hasn’t officially announce it yet, yesterday Alice Cooper revealed via webcast, that his world will come to life in a haunted house at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts. The house will be dubbed Alice Cooper Goes 2 Hell in 3D in Hollywood and Alice Cooper – Welcome to My Nightmare in Orlando. It is also the third house to be revealed for this years event on both coasts.
In response to a question about last year’s haunted house in Hollywood, Alice Cooper answered: “We have it in Orlando this year and in Hollywood – house of horrors, you know, our walk through thing that we’re doing, which was the #1 attraction last year at Universal. And this year it’s going to be ‘Alice Goes 2 Hell in 3D.’ Oh yeah.”

Universal Studios Orlando released a new video with Alice Cooper announcing this year’s maze and shows off a few pieces of artwork for the Alice Cooper- Welcome to My Nightmare house:
Universal Studios Orlando describes Alice Cooper- Welcome to My Nightmare as:
“Journey into legendary rocker Alice Cooper’s twisted mind and witness the natural melding of horror and Cooper’s four decades-long career. Here you will follow Steven, the iconic character from many of Cooper’s works, as you come face to face with a myriad of tormentors who threaten an already-decaying sense of sanity.”
“There are few as coolly demented as Alice Cooper,” said Jim Timon, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort. “He’s a cult classic icon and his partnership on the ‘Alice Cooper – Welcome to My Nightmare’ maze will bring something completely new and unexpected to our Halloween Horror Nights fans.”
This isn’t the first time Alice Cooper’s world has been brought to life at Halloween Horror Nights. Last year,a haunted house based off his world was apart of the event at Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Hollywood dubbed, “Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare”. It was very well recieved among guests and featured rooms based off of his famous songs.
So far, this years events on both coasts have the same line-up of houses featuring The Walking Dead, Silent Hill and now Alice Cooper. Stay tuned for more information on Halloween Horror Nights 22.
