All the Marvel movies and shows coming out in 2025

Marvel had a huge year in 2024, and 2025 is filled with even more fun on the little and big screen.

Last summer Deadpool claimed Marvel was at a bit of a low point. Well, after the massive blockbuster that was “Deadpool & Wolverine,” that may no longer be the case. After 20 years, we got Wolvie in his yellow “jammies” and the return of so many beloved characters. Before the year is over, the studio wraps up 2024 with “What If …?” season 3 (which debuts on Dec. 22 on Disney+). As Disney kicks off the new year, audiences can expect Spidey to swing into their living rooms.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ will kick off Marvel’s 2025

On Jan. 29, 2025, Marvel Animation will drop the first episode of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” on Disney+. This series will show a young Peter Parker as he learns to navigate his new spidey powers. It will take place outside of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (“MCU”), often referred to as Earth-616. However, some MCU stars will be lending their voices to their multiverse counterparts.

Captain America: Brave New World

Nothing says Valentine’s like a giant red Hulk (played by Harrison Ford). “Captain America: Brave New World” is crashing into theaters on Feb. 14, 2025. Anthony Mackie will be back in his role as Sam Wilson complete with wings and a shield as the MCU’s new “Captain America.” If you haven’t seen “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” on Disney+, this is the perfect time to catch up, and be ready for the first Marvel Studios movie of 2025. 

Daredevil: Born Again

Announced by Charlie Cox himself at New York Comic Con 2024, the “Daredevil: Born Again” series will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. To any and all Netflix Marvel fans, this is a day to mark your calendars. The whole original cast looks to be returning. 

Thunderbolts*’

Coming to the big screen on May 2, 2025, “Thunderbolts*” will feature many familiar faces from both the movies and shows. Ghost, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, Task Master, U.S. Agent, Yelena, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and more will all be returning to the MCU for this movie. 

‘Ironheart

Riri Williams — last seen onscreen in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” (and recently appearing in a cameo on the new Disney cruise ship) — is back as the titular character in the “Ironheart” series, coming to Disney+ on June 24, 2025. No longer in Wakanda, but back in her Chicago home, Riri continues to work on her suits. Comic book fans can expect a new character to show up: Parker Robbins aka “The Hood.”

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

The highly anticipated new “Fantastic Four” movie will come to theaters on July 25, 2025. With an all-star cast portraying the Marvel family that has become a household name, this is definitely a highly anticipated film.

In the five years Disney+ has been around, the streaming platform has given fans lots of Marvel holiday fun. 2025 is no different. Just in time for spooky season, the animated “Marvel Zombies” will come to Disney+ on Oct. 3, 2025. Fans can expect a lot of familiar voices to show up for this one, much like the past zombie episode of “What If …?”

‘Wonder Man‘ wraps up Marvel’s 2025 slate

Coming in December 2025 (no set date), Wonder Man will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. His first comic book appearance was in Avengers #9 in 1964. Wonder Man (aka Simon Williams) has shown up in animated projects and video games, however, this will be his first live-action appearance.

With a stacked 2025, there is something for every Marvel fan out there. Enjoy the New Year, true believers, and EXCELSIOR!
