America 250th anniversary fireworks coming to Disney World, Disneyland in 2026
Disney Fourth of July fireworks for 2026 will be presented at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, plus in a special live broadcast nationwide in honor of the 250th anniversary of the U.S.

Disney fireworks for America 250
“Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will be presented nightly from July 3-5, 2026, at both Magic Kingdom Park (in Walt Disney World near Orlando, Fla.) and Disneyland Park (in Anaheim, Calif.).
The fireworks shows will also be the finale of a 24-hour broadcast on the Fourth of July itself, hosted by David Muir of ABC News’ “World News Tonight with David Muir.”

“Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” first debuted in 2008. Disney has not specified if the 2026 version will be different for the 250th anniversary of the U.S. and/or for the special broadcast.
During Florida’s version of the Fourth of July fireworks, the pyrotechnics typically launch not only from Magic Kingdom’s usual year-round fireworks spot behind the park, but also from around the park’s perimeter and even from an extra launching spot in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon, between Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
The fireworks are the culmination of “Disney Celebrates America,” a new company-wide campaign, taking place Nov. 11, 2025 – July 4, 2026, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. The “Disney Celebrates America” campaign will feature Soarin’ Across America, a new version of the classic ride, opening on May 26, 2026 at both Epcot and Disney California Adventure.
Disney will also donate $2.5 million to Blue Star Families, an organization supporting military families.

More America 250 experiences across Walt Disney World
In addition to the special Fourth of July entertainment and the return of patriotic fireworks, Walt Disney World will continue celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with a variety of limited-time offerings across the resort.
Guests can look for patriotic lighting on Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, special performances by Voices of Liberty, and the continued nighttime tradition of the Electrical Water Pageant. Main Street, U.S.A. will feature themed décor, character appearances, and limited-time merchandise, food, and beverage offerings inspired by the milestone celebration.
Additional experiences include daily flag retreat ceremonies, performances by the Dapper Dans and Main Street Philharmonic, and an extended run of the “Portraits of Courage” exhibit through Fourth of July weekend. The exhibit, created by former President George W. Bush, honors post-9/11 veterans and service members through a collection of painted portraits.
The exhibit honors their courage and resilience and showcases the George W. Bush Institute’s Veterans and Military Families program.
Pairing this exhibit with the stirring ‘Voices of Liberty’ group and a viewing of the ‘American Adventure’ production makes for a great way to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary.
Guests visiting Disney Springs can also enjoy patriotic décor and special performances by the United States Air Force Band of the West as part of the resort-wide celebration.
Additional America 250 offerings announced for Disneyland Resort
Disney has also revealed additional America 250 experiences coming to Disneyland Resort throughout the anniversary celebration. Along with the return of the “Celebrate America!” fireworks spectacular over Fourth of July weekend, guests can expect patriotic décor along Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure.
Other limited-time offerings include special flag retreat ceremonies honoring veterans, military band performances, patriotic-themed attire for the Dapper Dans, specialty food and beverage offerings, and a celebratory cavalcade honoring America. Disney also announced a pre-show fireworks tribute ahead of “World of Color” during the holiday weekend.
