Disney Wish adds Bluey meet-and-greet, expands Bluey experiences

Bluey and Bingo have officially arrived aboard the Disney Wish, bringing character experiences, themed activities, merchandise, and even a Bluey popcorn bucket to Disney Cruise Line’s flagship vessel. While the characters previously debuted aboard the Disney Dream earlier this year, June 1 marked their first official day aboard the Disney Wish.

In June 2026, Attractions Magazine sailed aboard the Disney Wish as part of a Disney-hosted media sailing focused on multigenerational travel. My family and I experienced the voyage alongside my in-laws with my younger nieces and nephews under age three. The moment we realized our sailing would have Bluey-inspired experiences was like realizing Christmas morning was just a few days away.

While Bluey and Bingo previously debuted aboard other Disney Cruise Line ships earlier this year, June 1 marked the first official day guests could experience the characters aboard the Disney Wish. This debut followed Bluey arriving to Disneyland earlier this year and the start of ‘Bluey’s Wild World‘ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Bluey experiences have expanded aboard the Disney Wish

Update, Oct. 5, 2026: Bluey and Bingo have an even bigger presence aboard the Disney Wish than when Attractions Magazine first experienced the new programming in June.

The changes were apparent from the first night of our latest four-night sailing. Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party is now part of the embarkation-night schedule, beginning at 9:45 p.m. in Hero Zone.

The party itself has received a noticeable upgrade, too. Bluey and Bingo now appear in front of a colorful set recreating Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom, while the two hosts wear coordinating striped pajama-style costumes. When Attractions Magazine experienced the activity in June, the presentation did not include the same elaborate backdrop or themed costumes for the hosts.

The expanded Pyjama Party isn’t the only change we’ve found.

The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app now lists a dedicated opportunity to meet Bluey in Hero Zone. The listing is simply titled “Bluey,” with Disney describing the experience succinctly: “Meet Bluey. For real life.”

The dedicated character greeting was not offered when Attractions Magazine sailed aboard the Disney Wish for Bluey’s debut in June. At the time, guests could participate in activities with Bluey and Bingo, make Bluey crafts, hunt for hidden items and take augmented-reality Magic Shots, but our sailing did not list a standalone Bluey character greeting.

Disney had previously announced character greetings as part of its broader Bluey and Bingo plans for Disney Cruise Line, and greetings have been offered aboard the Disney Dream. Now we’re seeing the dedicated Bluey greeting appear in the Disney Wish’s Navigator schedule as well.

On the current sailing, the schedule shows a 10-minute Bluey appearance at Hero Zone following the morning activities. Wakey Wakey With Bluey and Bingo begins at 8:30 a.m., Bluey’s Favourite Games follows at 8:45 a.m., and the dedicated Bluey appearance begins at 9 a.m.

• 9 p.m. — Bluey Crafts — Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Deck 2 Midship — listed as 45 minutes
• 9:45 p.m. — Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party — Hero Zone, Deck 12 Aft — Navigator allocates 30 minutes

Day 2

• 8:30 a.m. — Bluey Magic Shots — Grand Hall (Port Side), Deck 3 Midship — listed from 8:30 a.m. for 2 hours, 30 minutes
• 9:45 p.m. — Bluey — Hero Zone, Deck 12 Aft — 10-minute character greeting

Day 3 — Castaway Cay

• 8:30 a.m. — Wakey Wakey With Bluey and Bingo — Hero Zone, Deck 12 Aft — 15 minutes

Bluey merchandise aboard Disney Wish

At Mickey’s Mainsail, guests can purchase large Bluey and Bingo plushes in the popular Squishmallows-style. Additional apparel, accessories, and Bluey-themed merchandise were not shown in the store when we visited on the first night in June 2026.

But now there are Disney Cruise Line-branded Bluey items aboard the Disney Wish. The expanded collection includes apparel featuring Bluey in a ship captain’s hat, including T-shirts and a zip-up hoodie, along with accessories and souvenirs such as pins and magnets.

Several designs incorporate nautical details, including a ship porthole, while pairing the Disney Cruise Line and Bluey brands.

Bluey popcorn bucket now available

Guests can also purchase a Bluey popcorn bucket at theater concession locations aboard the Disney Wish. The bucket features Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, Chilli, Muffin, Socks, and other members of the Heeler family.

What Bluey activities were offered on our June 2026 Disney Wish sailing?

Bluey and Bingo debuted aboard the Disney Wish in June 2026, and Attractions Magazine was aboard during their first month on the ship. Our four-night sailing offered several Bluey activities, although the lineup looked different from what we’re finding aboard the Disney Wish now.

The June programming included Bluey Magic Shots in the Grand Hall, Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party in Hero Zone, Wakey Wakey With Bluey and Bingo and Bluey’s Favourite Games in Hero Zone, Bluey Crafts in Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Bluey’s Scavenger Hunt, which guests could complete during the final day at sea.

The Pyjama Party was offered only once during our June sailing, at 9:45 p.m. on Day 2. Wakey Wakey and Bluey’s Favourite Games followed the next morning, while the scavenger hunt and an afternoon Bluey Crafts session were offered on the sea day.

One cute touch remains in the names of the activities themselves. Disney uses spellings including “favourite” and “pyjamas,” reflecting the Australian series’ use of British English spelling.
