(Review) Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party proves a hit aboard Disney Wish
Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party drew one of the largest crowds we encountered among the Disney Wish’s new Bluey offerings, with families filling Hero Zone late into the evening for the character experience.

The approximately 22-minute event is one of several Bluey activities recently introduced aboard the Disney Wish, joining games, crafts, scavenger hunts, Magic Shots, merchandise, and character appearances throughout the ship.
As part of a Disney-hosted media sailing focused on multigenerational travel, I attended the Pyjama Party on Nassau night to see how Disney Cruise Line’s newest Bluey experience compares to the other offerings available onboard.
Thankfully, I had the Disney Wish Bluey schedule in hand. Knowing our little family wouldn’t make it to 9:45 p.m. for the Pyjama Party, I led us to the Grand Hall for Bluey Magic Shots earlier that evening.
What happens at Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party?
Scheduled for 9:45 p.m. in Hero Zone, two hosts lead the event and begin with several interactive activities before Bluey and Bingo arrive. The experience opens with a game of Copycat, followed by a PJ Parade allowing children to participate and parade around the main floor of the Hero Zone. A short story time segment leads into the arrival of Bluey and Bingo.

Once the characters appear, the activities shift into familiar games inspired by the television series.
During Magic Asparagus, children use their imaginations to transform into various animals, including a playful Unicorse moment. The party then transitions into Magic Statues, a dance-and-freeze game featuring music and audio-only appearances from Chattermax.

The event concludes shortly afterward as Bluey and Bingo announce it’s bedtime before making their exit. I found the exit to be a bit abrupt. A few more waves of goodnight and a softer transition would be better, especially for young kids who were just wound up from all the dancing and music.
A late-night event for younger guests
The 9:45 p.m. start time stands out; however, it is really the only slot available after the normal dinner rotations and live show in the Walt Disney Theater. Looking at the schedule, I wondered how many younger children would still be awake for a pajama-themed event that started so late.
To attend, I left my husband enjoying the remainder of our dinner at Palo Steakhouse while I headed to Hero Zone to photograph and film the experience. My 8-year-old son was spending the evening at Disney’s Oceaneer Club, while the younger children traveling with our family were already asleep by the time the event began.

Despite the late hour, attendance was strong.
In fact, after also attending Wakey Wakey with Bluey and Bingo and Bluey’s Favourite Games the following morning, the Pyjama Party appeared to attract a noticeably larger crowd than either of those daytime experiences.
Families considering the event should know that Bluey and Bingo do not appear immediately. Much of the experience is host-led audience participation before the characters arrive. Thankfully, the Disney Wish is a larger ship and the Hero Zone affords a lot of open space for movement.
For children who enjoy dancing, imaginative play, and interactive games, the format keeps the energy level high throughout the event. Parents hoping for extended character interaction may find the Bluey and Bingo portion shorter than expected, but the overall crowd response suggested many families considered the experience worth staying up for.
With strong attendance and additional Bluey activities scheduled during parts of the sailing, it is clear that Disney Cruise Line’s newest characters are quite popular aboard the Disney Wish.
