American Dream, a new community for fashion and luxury retail, dining, and attractions, is set to open in the New Jersey-area in fall 2019. This new property will offer hundreds of shopping and entertainment options for guests to enjoy – including its own Nickelodeon theme park.
“Guests will experience something completely unique each time they visit – this project will be the realization of their wildest dreams,” said Don Ghermezian, president of American Dream.
The property will not only offer shopping and dining, but also some exciting attractions. Big Snow, the first indoor snowpark in North America, will be among the offerings, and include The Shops at Big Snow, ski chalets and more – all kept at 26 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
Another attraction offering will be the DreamWorks Water Park, the largest indoor water park in North America. This water park will host a custom-designed VIP lounge and cabanas. Guests can also get in on the fun at the fully-enclosed Nickelodeon Universe theme park, the largest indoor theme park in the Western Hemisphere, complete with the world’s steepest roller coaster.
Other attractions offerings include an NHL-sized ice-skating rink, a performing arts theater, KidZania, CMX Luxury Movie Theater, and a 300-foot observation wheel.
Retail locations at American Dream will include Gucci, Louis Vitton, Barneys New York, Tiffany & Co., Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, and more. Dining experiences will feature cuisine from South America, Asia, Italy, the Mediterranean and more, with offerings ranging from grab-n-go to fine dining.
Located adjacent to the Meadowlands Sports Complex, just five miles from Manhattan, N.Y., American Dream will open to guests this fall. Retail tenants will open their doors through the holiday season and early 2020.
