Axecelsior Axe Throwing opened on April 2, 2021, in the action-packed Dezerland Park, introducing an “axe-citing” new adventure to Orlando, Fla.

Perfect for thrill-seeking adventurers and families alike, Axecelsior’s sixteen indoor throwing lanes, trained coaches, child-friendly targets, and 5,000 square feet of entertainment space are ready to introduce the Orlando community to the world of axe throwing.

Axecelsior is the only venue in Orlando that utilizes state-of-the-art end grain projection targets with anti-bounce borders. This innovative approach to axe throwing makes throwing even more entertaining by providing a variety of games, team customization, and digital scoring.

The end grain targets are also great for newcomers to the sport, as the softer material means a higher “stick” rate than the standard straight grain target offerings; the anti-bounce borders help protect players from stray throws by absorbing the impact of the axes and safely dropping the axe to the ground away from the thrower.

For competitors looking for the added challenge of traditional targets, Axecelsior has nine straight grain targets available. With assistance from Axelsior’s trained coaches, throwers of all skill levels will have a great time no matter which target is chosen.
