Oriental Land Co., Ltd, owners and operators of the Tokyo Disney Resort theme parks, announced the new nighttime entertainment, which will, they say, “remind dreamers to keep on believing and making their wishes come true.”

The show will launch at Mediterranean Harbor, transforming the water into a “Sea of Dreams” filled with “wishing stars” that come to life each time a heartfelt wish is made.

Additional elements of the show include large boats gliding across the water, lasers and searchlights illuminating the sky above Mediterranean Harbor, and projections on the walls of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.

Disney and Pixar friends such as Peter Pan, Wendy, Aladdin, Rapunzel, Miguel, Ariel, Moana, and Elsa will join dancers during the 30-minute show, which cost 9.5 billion yen ($70,726,360) to produce and allows guests to feel as if they have stepped into each character’s story.

Tokyo Disney Resort also announced that “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” at Tokyo Disneyland Park will have a new scene featuring Disney and Pixar’s “Coco,” titled “Remember Me” in Japan, starting September 15, 2022. This will be the first update of this 3D film attraction since it opened in January 2011, and will feature upgraded projection equipment.
