Disney Parks announces their plans for D23 Expo
On Sept. 9-11, 2022, Disney fans will gather on Disneyland’s doorstep in Anaheim, Calif., for D23 Expo, and now we know more about what Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products has planned for the event.
Between pavilions, panel presentations, and unique retail experiences, Disney fans attending D23 Expo will be the first to learn about new themed lands, attractions, shows, and much more.
Wonderful World of Dreams Pavilion
The Disney Parks and Experiences Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion will reveal some of the new stories, attractions, and adventures Imagineers will be bringing to life in Disney parks around the world, including behind-the-scenes glimpses of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the continuing transformation of Epcot, and new Frozen-themed experiences.
Then, on Sept. 11, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., Disney Parks, Experiences,, and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro will take to the Hall D23 stage for the Disney Parks presentation – this year, dubbed “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products.” This presentation (which always includes a few “see-it-here-first” moments and special surprises) promises to share new details of some of the most highly-anticipated projects in development worldwide.
DisneyMe D23 Expo Quest
D23 Expo attendees will also be the first to access DisneyMe, an all-new digital avatar in the Play Disney Parks app. In celebration of the launch of DisneyMe as part of Disney Uncharted Adventure on the Disney Wish, guests at D23 Expo will be invited to create their own personalized DisneyMe and embark on an exclusive quest to discover specially-designed Disney Wish and D23 Expo digital clothing and accessories for their DisneyMe around the show floor.
Starting in September, those registered for D23 Expo can download the latest Play Disney Parks app, so they’re ready to create their DisneyMe and join the DisneyMe D23 Expo Quest during the event.
