First look at ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook’

We now have our first look at the upcoming “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook”, releasing later this year.

This cookbook will allow readers to bring home a variety of intergalactic recipes and cooking traditions from Black Spire Outpost and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Inspired by the stories and food found in the land, this cookbook is written from the perspective of Strono “Cookie” Tuggs, former head chef at Max Kanata’s castle on Takodana and the current head of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo on Batuu.

After his time on Takodana, Tuggs moved on to operate a food freighter (known as “Tugg’s Grib”, a ‘traveling diner for diners traveling’), serving countless planets from across the galaxy. He now has an encyclopedic knowledge of the galaxy’s culinary fare after decades of travel, research, and a love of the holovids of the chef Gormaanda (who you might recognize from the infamous “Star Wars Holiday Special”).

In the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge cookbook, Tuggs’ first literary outing, fans will find many recipes designed for home cooks of all skill levels. The book will be published by Insight Editions and is co-authored by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel and the award-nominated writer and editor Marc Sumerak, whose work includes “Hidden Universe Travel Guides: The Complete Marvel Cosmos” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Creating Marvel’s Spacefaring Super Heroes”.
