Bowes Signature Candles opens a fresh new store at Disney Springs
The scents of Pirate’s Rum and Pineapple Whip are now wafting through the West Side of Disney Springs, thanks to brand new Bowes Signature Candles offering sweet-smelling candles, oils, wax melts, and more.
Orlando-based Bowes Signature Candles grew out of the love for the art of candlemaking. Previously, Walt Disney World guests could purchase their products at the Disney Springs Marketplace Co-Op and Disney’s Days of Christmas. Their new fully dedicated candle store provides a new way for guests to buy and experience the company’s products.
On Oct. 22, 2023, the new store opened he Westside area of Disney Springs next door to Salt & Straw and across from the future home of Summer House on the Lake (the location of previous long-standing Disney Springs tenant, Sosa Family Cigars).
Bowes Signature Candles is bright and clean
The new store looks bright and clean, and of course, it also smells wonderful. Guests entering the shop will see a variety of candles, diffusers, wax melts, and other accessories on the walls. Along the displays, the fragrance collections are organized by scent, many of the which might remind you of some Orlando area resort hotels or theme park attractions.
Two sawhorse-shaped tables in the middle of the store display several featured items, including the resort signature scent used in several resorts at Walt Disney World, plus the most popular scent, Clover World.
On the left side of the store, a long counter will soon be used for candle-making and other guest activities. Guests can create their own candles under the watchful eye of the talented staff for $25 each. This service should be available to later this week. However, the website recommends that groups of six or more people make reservations for a specific day and time.
Though the store opened on Oct. 22, 2023, a grand opening celebration will be held in mid-November. Please visit the Bowes Signature Candles website for more information about this company and its stores.
I hope they burn some extra candles to get rid of the stench left behind by the cigar store. I am so glad that place is gone.
