Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is taking several steps toward pre-pandemic normal with Summer Nights, featuring open-air block parties, the return of its ice-skating show, an all-new Cirque show, and the park’s biggest and brightest fireworks extravaganza ever.

Summer Nights

UPDATE — 06/08/21: Summer Nights just got brighter at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Due to popular demand, the park’s new nighttime spectacular, “Spark!” can now be enjoyed every night starting on Friday, June 11 through Sunday, Aug. 8. “Spark!” features an explosive array of fireworks and effects, from lasers to water elements and pyrotechnics.

After August 8, “Spark!” will continue to light the night sky at Busch Gardens Tampa with presentations each Friday, Saturday and Sunday night through Sept. 6, including Labor Day.

Beginning on Memorial Day Weekend and lasting for more than 100 days, visitors to Busch Gardens Tampa can enjoy extended hours during the park’s Summer Nights event, including six new experiences, the return of a popular skating show, and a “party all summer long” vibe.

Building on the success of previous summer events, including Summer Nights 2020, Busch Gardens introduces exciting additions to the festivities for 2021:

It begins with a Pre-Party on the Festival Pathway as guests walk beneath trees strung with sparkling lights and vibrant music welcomes them into the park.

The “Cirque Electric” acrobatic stunt show debuts at the Stanleyville Theater,  featuring a daring airborne aerialist, stunning acts on wheels, and world-class feats of strength and balance.

The Festival Field becomes celebration central, with DJs mixing tunes for an open-air dance party before the fireworks begin.

Enjoy the flavors of a summer cookout with Summer Seasonal Menu items ranging from grilled classics to sweet treats. Add a glow-in-the-dark cocktail for the perfect laid-back accompaniment.

The Serengeti Outlook’s new Giraffe Bar is the place to be for sunset cocktails, frozen specialty drinks, Florida craft beers, and a light bite with panoramic indoor and outdoor views of the park’s Serengeti Plain.

End a full day of fun with “Spark! A Nighttime Spectacular” fireworks and pyrotechnics presentation above the Festival Field. “Spark” lights up the sky at 9:15 p.m each Friday-Sunday, with a dazzling array of fireworks, pyrotechnics, laser effects and graceful water elements that create an unforgettable nighttime finale.

Busch Gardens' Summer Nights Turn It Up

Summer Nights also sees the return of the “Turn It Up!” ice skating show in the Moroccan Palace Theater, with performances on Thursdays-Mondays and later evening shows on select nights. Cheetah Hunt Plaza and Stanleyville Plaza will once again host open-air block parties complete with scrumptious seasonal eats and sizzling electric beats.

Summer Nights is included with park admission, and takes place Friday-Sunday from May 28 – Sept. 6, with extended park hours and special presentations on May 31 for Memorial Day, July 1-4 in celebration of Independence Day, and on Sept. 6 to close the summer season on Labor Day.
