Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers guests Scary and Merry
Guests visiting Busch Gardens Tampa Bay on July 25, 2023 can enjoy a special preview of things “Scary and Merry” included with park admission.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay decided to celebrate Christmas in July this year, and in fact, they decided to celebrate the spooky season in July as well.
The one-day Scary and Merry event occurs on July 25, 2023, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. On that day, Busch Gardens guests get to celebrate the Scary and Merry event as a part of regular park admission, combining the frights of a haunted house with the joy of the holiday season.
The Scary
For the Scary part, guests will be allowed to enter a lights-on walk-through of The Residence: Home for the Holidays haunted house. This Christmas-themed house appeared at the park’s Howl-O-Scream event last year and will make a haunting return for Howl-O-Scream 2023.
As stated on the Howl-O-Scream website, “things are definitely not as merry as they may seem.”
The Merry
Though the lights-on trip through The Residence: Home for the Holidays offers some merry, another much merrier opportunity exists on July 25th.
For a true Christmas in July celebration, guests can meet Santa (long before his big day in December) in the Pass Member Lounge upstairs in the Serengeti Overlook.
A Sinister Sale
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is currently running a “Sinister Sale,” which allows guests to save up to 70% on single-day Howl-O-Scream tickets (as low as $32.99). Prices will vary based on the evening selected to attend. The Sinister sale lasts until July 30, 2023.
