Canada’s Wonderland event and entertainment lineup for 2022

Canada’s Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario will open for the season on April 30, 2022, with five live shows and 12 festivals and events, three of which are new this year.

The park has already assembled a schedule that runs from May through the end of December, and more entertainment will be announced over the course of the year.

Canada’s Wonderland live show schedule:

“WoofJock’s Canine All-Stars” – A live show featuring choreographed tricks, flips, and athletic skills runs from May-June (dates to be announced).

“Tundra: A Cirque Experience” – Witness the humorous tail of Canadian exploration in this acrobatics, aerial artistry, and bike-stunts show, playing at the Canterbury Theatre from June 24-September 5.

“Victoria Falls High Divers” – Watch daring dives from the top of Wonder Mountain into a pool 60 feet below. Shows take place from June 25-September 5.

“Fall Out -Stunt Dive Show” – In another feat of diving expertise, this June 25-September 5 stunt show pits athletes against each other on trampolines and high-dive towers.

“Charlie Brown’s Jungle Journey” – Join Snoopy and the Peanuts gang at the Peanuts block party, and watch as Snoopy conducts a fountain orchestra during “Snoopy’s Symphony of Water.” Shows run on various dates.

Events and festivals for 2022:

Fireworks (May 22, July 1, July 31, and September 4) – The night sky over Canada’s Wonderland lights up with a dramatic fireworks display of light and color, all set to a choreographed soundtrack.

Splash Works – This 20-acre water park will open on May 28, with 17 slides, cliff jumping, water playgrounds, a lazy river, and more.

Brew & BBQ – The annual festival of live music, craft beers and ciders, and a summer-inspired menu that includes ribs, gourmet burgers, and BBQ chicken returns to the park from June 24-26.

Celebration Canada – Celebrate Canada’s birthday from July 1-17 in this bash filled with lively music, street entertainment, and the outstanding skills of the West Coast Lumberjacks. A special festival menu features beef sliders, poutine, mac ‘n cheese, and more.

KidZfest – It’s all about family fun when the Marvel super heroes show up! Play interactive games, take part in various activities, and enjoy live entertainment, as well as boogying with the Peanuts gang as they throw kid-friendly dance parties during the annual festival, which runs from July 23-August 7.

Oktoberfest – The annual two-weekend celebration of all things German takes over the castle courtyard of Medieval Faire during this autumn festival, highlighting German themed foods such as sausage, schnitzel, and Bavarian pretzels, along with chilled steins of lager. Experience the festival from September 10-11 and September 17-18.

Camp Spooky – The Peanuts gang returns for a Halloween filled with trick-or-treating, costume parades, live shows, interactive games, and more, in this family-friendly event that runs each weekend from September 24-October 30.

Halloween Haunt – Things turn seriously scary when hundreds of monsters take over the park, scare zones give guests the creeps, and the live entertainment is truly terrifying. Visit on select nights from September 23-October 31.

WinterFest – It’s the annual yuletide season’s premier event, filled with holiday magic. Watch ice skating shows, enjoy live entertainment, and indulge in festive foods on select nights from November 18-December 31, all set to a backdrop of millions of glittering lights.

Taste of Portugal – Celebrate the charm of Portugal on August 13-14 through street entertainment and traditional foods such as roast chicken and crispy Portuguese custard tarts.

Taste of Ireland – It’s the Emerald Isle’s turn from August 20-21, as Canada’s Wonderland brings Celtic music and dancers to the park, along with Irish fare that includes Guinness BBQ Pork Ribs, Irish Shepherd’s Pie, and desserts such as Chocolate Guinness Cake and Butterscotch Apple Cake.

Taste of the Caribbean – Jerk Chicken, specialty seafood, rum cake, and coconut sweets take center stage from August 27-28, along with summery drinks that bring the laid-back style of the Caribbean to the park.
