Catch a Launch and a Movie at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering their own drive-in movie experience with a twist during “Launch and a Movie.”

Launch and a Movie will offer guests a viewing of the launch of SpaceX’s SAOCOM 1B, followed by a showing of the short film “Hubble” under the stars and from the safety of everyone’s own vehicles.

This event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 30. Parking will open at 5:30 p.m., with live NASA TV playing until the webcast begins prior to SpaceX’s targeted liftoff time of 7:14 p.m. After the rocket launch and landing of the Falcon 9 booster, guests will watch “Hubble,” narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Entry to Launch and a Movie is $50 per vehicle, and RVs are welcome. Admission can be booked online or by calling (855) 737-5235. Keep in mind that if there is a delay or scrub of the scheduled launch, tickets will be valid for the next launch attempt.
