New land and attractions based on the hit movie Avatar coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney has announced they have entered into a long term partnership with James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Filmed Entertainment to bring characters and settings from the hit movie Avatar to Disney’s theme parks. It will all begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the next few years.

Universal Orlando releases a mobile app – A look at all of Florida’s official theme park apps

Universal Orlando’s has released a free mobile app for Apple and Android phones, joining SeaWorld, which also released a free app earlier this year and Disney World, which offers a paid app for Verizon customers. Busch Gardens officials say their mobile app is in the works.
