Club Wyndham Countdown to Christmas suites bring holiday movies to life
If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into a Hallmark Channel holiday movie, now’s your chance. This holiday season, Club Wyndham and Hallmark Channel are bringing those movies to life with three custom-designed Countdown to Christmas suites at Club Wyndham resorts in New York City, Nashville, and Vail.
From Nov. 12, 2021 – Jan. 1, 2022, guests can check into one-bedroom suites custom-styled by Hallmark Channel’s head of design to recreate memorable moments from Hallmark Channel’s holiday movies. The three themes were inspired by the Countdown to Christmas movie lineup: “Classic Hallmark Channel Christmas” at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York City, “Country Christmas” at Club Wyndham Nashville in Nashville, Tenn., and “Snowy Mountain Christmas” at Club Wyndham Resort at Avon in Vail, Colorado.

The suites feature all of the amenities vacation clubs are known for, including fully-equipped kitchens and separate living and dining spaces adorned with festive décor, plus an ornament crafting station, gingerbread house kits, cookie decorating, a hot cocoa station, and, of course, a Hallmark Channel holiday movie collection for the ultimate binge-watching session (popcorn and candy included).
All three suites will also feature a scent machine to fill the room with favorite holiday smells and a floor-to-ceiling backdrop from a Hallmark Channel movie scene for the perfect Instagram-able moment.
But that’s not all. Guests who stay at one of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas holiday suites by Club Wyndham will also enjoy unique festive experiences specific to their chosen destination:
In New York City, a mailbox marked “Letters to Santa” and stationery to write a Christmas wish list is a nod to “Classic Hallmark Channel Christmas” traditions.
In Vail, a shower full of “snowballs” and falling snow on the ceiling created with a light projector is an homage to the “Snowy Mountain Christmas” theme.
Nashville guests can enjoy the suite’s country cottage feel while accessing their favorite “Country Christmas” songs on demand.
“One thing about Hallmark Christmas movies is that there’s Christmas in every frame,” says Hallmark movie star Holly Robinson Peete. “In these suites, there’s Christmas in every corner, so when guests walk in, they’re going to feel like they’re on the set of an actual Hallmark Christmas movie.”
Travelers will receive a location-based “Holiday Experience Checklist” to ensure they don’t miss a single seasonal moment at their select destinations. Guests will also be able to continue their holiday celebration even after check-out, thanks to a gift basket filled with a Hallmark keepsake ornament, Hallmark Channel wine, a Hallmark Channel Monopoly game set, Hallmark holiday cards, and more.

Each of the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas Holiday Suites by Club Wyndham sleeps up to four guests, and rates start at $295 per night. Reservations for two- and three-night stays from Nov. 12 through Jan. 1 at all three destinations will be available to book beginning on Nov. 1, 2021, at 9 am. In addition, the suites will be available exclusively for Club Wyndham vacation club members on select dates throughout November and December.
