Disney Adventure cruise ship delayed | See 86 concept images inside
The new Disney Adventure cruise ship will set sail in 2026 from Singapore with a Marvel roller coaster, a “Wall-E” show, and Pizza Planet, among many other activities. On Sept. 10, 2025, Disney announced the ship’s December 2025 launch will be delayed until March 2026 (details below).

The Disney Adventure is one of several upcoming Disney Cruise Line ships. Below you’ll find our full guide to all the ship’s areas and amenities, from staterooms and restaurants to pools and live shows.
(For good measure, the other ships in development are the Disney Destiny and five additional unnamed ships, including one sailing from Tokyo.)
Important dates for the Disney Adventure cruise ship’s launch
The Disney Adventure’s first voyage will cast off Dec. 15, 2025 March 10, 2026. The cruise ship’s maiden voyage is delayed, as reported by journalist Scott Gustin. Guests who had planned to sail on the original maiden voyage can sail on the new March 10 date at 50% off, or opt for a refund and also receive 50% off a future cruise. Travelers who had booked other voyages taking place prior to March 10 will receive a refund and an offer for 50% off a future cruise.
“As we bring this vision to life, we’ve encountered unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process,” Disney noted in an email to the Disney Adventure’s future first passengers. The email went on to say, “Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to deliver an experience that’s truly worth the wait.”

Location and layout of the Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure will make port in Singapore, making it the first Disney ship to sail from Asia. It will welcome travelers for three- and four-night cruises. The ship will be at sea for the entirety of its trips, not going ashore at other locations.
The Disney Adventure will consist of seven themed zones, within which reside the ship’s restaurants, pools, and other activities we’ll mention in our guide today.

The zones are:
- Town Square
- Wayfinder Bay
- Marvel Landing
- Toy Story Place
- San Fransokyo Street
- Disney Discovery Reef
- Disney Imagination Garden

Staterooms of the Disney Adventure
A number of different styles and stylings of guest staterooms will populate the Disney Adventure, catering to different preferences or budget: inside rooms, garden-view rooms, ocean-view rooms with or without a verandah, concierge staterooms, concierge suites, the concierge-level Elsa Royal Suite, and the concierge-level Anna Royal Suite.
Standard staterooms
In the renderings below, rooms without a verandah contain “Frozen” artwork while rooms with a verandah contain “The Little Mermaid” artwork. These motifs may or may not be consistent across all rooms, as these are concepts only.

Concierge staterooms
We spy artwork from “Thor: Ragnarok” in the renderings of concierge-level staterooms and a “Moana” theme in the concierge-level suite.

Rides (!) onboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship
Yes, the Disney Adventure cruise ship will have rides! Three of them, to be exact, all part of the Marvel Landing deck area: the Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster, the Pyn Quamtum Racers go-karts, and the Groot Galaxy Spin flat ride.

Pools and slides on the Disney Adventure cruise ship
Toy Story Place will be the primary water play zone onboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship, containing Toy Story Splash Pad! and Woody and Jessie’s Wild Slides.

In addition to the aforementioned rides, Marvel Landing will include the Infinity Pool and Bar (ha, ha … Infinity Stones).
Meanwhile, Wayfinder Bay will be home to the ship’s more relaxing pool area, but it will notably be welcome to all guests, not just adults.

It seems the Disney Adventure will not feature the AquaMouse water coaster seen on other recent Disney ships.
The live shows of the Disney Adventure
Several venues on the Disney Adventure cruise ship will host live stage productions.
Walt Disney Theater
The Walt Disney Theater will be home to “Remember,” a new Broadway-style show starring (are you ready for this?) Wall-E and Eve!
The story will begin with Wall-E preparing a special surprise for Eve as she returns from a long mission away from home. But when an unexpected power outage cuts their reunion short and causes Eve to reboot, Wall-E calls on heroes from beloved Pixar and Disney films, from “Coco” and “The Little Mermaid” to “Aladdin” and more to help restore his loved one through the power of music, hope and treasured memories.
Disney Cruise Line

This marks the first time Disney has developed the story of “Wall-E” beyond the conclusion of the 2008 film.

Also in the Walt Disney Theater, guests can see “Disney Seas the Adventure,” starring Goofy and Captain Minnie. This show first debuted on the Disney Wish in 2022.

Garden Stage
Meanwhile, the Garden Stage inside the vast Imagination Garden space will be the venue for five new productions:
- “Let’s Set Sail”
- “Avengers Assemble!”
- “Captain Jack Sparrow & the Siren Queen”
- “Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party”
- “Baymax Super Exercise Expo”
- “Duffy and the Friend Ship”

This will be the first Disney Cruise Line appearance of Duffy and Friends, including: Duffy the Disney Bear ShellieMay, LinaBell, CookieAnn, ‘Olu Mel, and Gelatoni.
In the concept art for the “Avengers Assemble!” show, we see Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Black Panther, Taskmaster, Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Thor, and Loki. Disney also shared Deadpool will make an appearance.

Wayfinder Bay
Lastly in Wayfinder Bay, guests can watch “Moana: Call of the Sea,” a live retelling of Moana’s story with puppetry, water, and Moana herself.

Restaurants on the Disney Adventure
As part of the Disney Adventure cruise ship’s rotational dining, guests will eat dinner at several table-service restaurants:
- Animator’s Palate or Animator’s Table, both celebrating the artform of animation
- Navigator’s Club or Hollywood Spotlight Club, both featuring appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy
- Enchanted Summer Restaurant, featuring dining rooms themed to Maximus from “Tangled” and Olaf from “Frozen”
- Pixar Market Restaurant
Among the “or” restaurants, the themes and cuisine are similar. It is unclear if Enchanted Summer and Pixar Market fall into this category.

- Mike & Sulley’s – Flavors of Asia, themed to “Monsters, Inc.”
- Palo Trattoria, themed to “Luca”
