Disney to crown ‘UK’s biggest Disney fan’ in 10-day competition
Would you have what it takes to prove your Disney fandom? Ten hopefuls from the UK will find out when they participate in challenges across three Disney destinations to win the title of UK’s biggest Disney fan—and a stay in Cinderella Castle.

The competition begins April 10, 2023 and will span ten days at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World, and onboard the Disney Wish cruise ship where hopefuls will undergo ten challenges like “unleashing their inner hero and taking on missions” at Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park.

In addition to the title of UK’s biggest Disney fan, the grand prize is an overnight stay inside the Cinderella Castle Suite. Fellow fans can keep tabs on the voyage from home by following @DisneyParksUK on Instagram.

Players from across the UK
Over 1,500 prospective players submitted short videos sharing why they deserve the prestigious title of the UK’s biggest Disney fan, and Disney trimmed the selection down to ten finalists based on “creativity, originality, on-screen presence, and enthusiasm.”
The ten contestants come from Bedfordshire, Bristol, Devon, Kent, Lanarkshire, London, Norfolk, North Yorkshire, Staffordshire, and Surrey.
Hosted by Janette Manrara
Janette Manrara from the “Strictly Come Dancing” reality competition show will guide the players along their international quest.
“As a life-long Disney fan, I’m thrilled to be part of the crowning of the UK’s biggest Disney fan,” Manrara said. “I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida 43 times, the first time when I was aged one, and I even managed to get my husband onboard by putting an annual Disney Parks visit in our wedding vows before we honeymooned in Disneyland Paris! I chose Disney as my specialist subject on Mastermind, so you could say I’m more than qualified to help guide the fans on their magical journey.”
Disney100 Continues
The competition is part of Disney’s company-wide 100th anniversary celebration.
“We are inspired by the fans and families who have brought us into their hearts over the last 100 years and we wanted to choose a prize that reflected that,” said Angelica Costantini, vice president of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA.

Other anniversary events include new attractions at Disneyland in California and the ongoing transformation of Epcot in Florida. Outside the parks, a touring exhibition is currently in Philadelphia and coming soon to London and Munich.
