Disney launches competition to find the UK’s biggest Disney fan
To celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary, “Strictly Come Dancing” star and Disney super-fan Janette Manrara will be looking for UK’s biggest Disney fan during a magical trip to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, and onboard the Disney Wish.
The competition runs until Feb. 13, 2023, with the first round requiring a video submission explaining why you love Disney. Ten lucky winners, along with their families, will move to the second round towards becoming the UK’s biggest Disney fan.
“This is a hugely exciting way for us to come together and share our Disney stories and memories during our 100thAnniversary year,” said VP of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA Angelica Costantini. “We are inspired by the fans and families who have brought us into their hearts over the last 100 years and we wanted to choose a prize that reflected that. The ten short-listed fans and their families are destined to have a truly magical time experiencing Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney Cruise Line, all whilst competing for the title UK’s Biggest Disney Fan.”
During the second round, which takes place during a 10-day trip that includes visits to Disneyland Paris Resort and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, plus a cruise onboard the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the ten winners will compete in ten different challenges.
Janette Manrara will join the winners and their guests to test their Disney knowledge, including a challenge in the new Marvel Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris. While at Walt Disney World Resort, fans will compete throughout different theme parks. The final challenge on the Disney Wish will take place as contestants sail around the Bahamas.

The winner gets to stay in Cinderella’s Castle
The winner of the ten challenges will be crowned (in front of Cinderella’s Castle, of course) as the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan, and will get to stay overnight inside the Castle, something that is not normally available to the public.
How to Enter UK’s Biggest Disney Fan Competition:
To enter, Disney fans need to submit a 30- to 60-second video that expresses why they want to compete for the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan (videos cannot include music). Videos can be uploaded to a public Instagram account (tag @DisneyParksUK and use the hashtag #UKsBiggestDisneyFan), or uploaded in the comments of the competition posts on the Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, or Disney Cruise Line UK Facebook pages. Videos must be submitted by Feb. 13, 2023 (one entry per person across all social media platforms).
