Disney Cruise Line has plenty of offerings for the whole family, but it’s no secret that when it comes to kids, they have it made the moment they step onboard a Disney Cruise ship.
Kids clubs for all ages
No matter the age, kids have a space that’s made just for them during their time on a Disney Cruise. For younger ones up to age 3, there’s a nursery with specially trained counselors.
Kids ages 3-12 have exclusive access to two clubs, the Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab. Here they can dive into their favorite Disney stories, participate in science experiments and arts and crafts, and more. Tweens ages 11-13 can hang out at Edge, and teens ages 14-17 can enjoy their own club called Vibe.
Customize your experience with activities and events
Aboard all Disney ships, kids can personalize their experience by choosing events and activities based on their interests.
The children’s clubs feature plenty of toys, costumes, arts and crafts, games, musical fun, storytelling dancing and more – along with special activities like Toy Story Boot Camp, Jedi Training: Experience the Force, and Become Iron Man.
Tweens and teens can set their own schedule, whether it includes socializing with new friends aboard the ship, playing the latest video games, or just hanging out by the pool. Both kids and teens can enjoy organized activities like dance parties, trivia games and sports contests to keep things entertaining.
Make a splash with pool and water features
Every Disney Cruise Line vessel has water areas that kids will love, too. For the young ones up to age 3, they can hang out in a splash-and-play area. For bigger kids, there’s a children’s pool, family pool, and slide aboard each ship.
Also, depending on the ship, kids can enjoy the AquaDuck water coaster, the AquaDunk thrill slide, the AquaLab water play area, and a teen-exclusive pool area at Vibe.
Disney characters are everywhere aboard the Disney Cruise ships, including all your favorites from classic and modern Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars.
Whether its a hoedown with Woody, a coronation ceremony with Anna and Elsa, battling First Order Stormtroopers with the Force, or honing their spider senses with Spider-Man, kids will have a blast with characters in the youth clubs.
Surprise encounters will also be roaming around the ship for guests to enjoy, as well as scheduled photo opportunities onboard and at Castaway Cay.
For the little princes, princesses, and even pirates, these kiddos can live out their dreams with makeovers in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique aboard all Disney ships.
Kids can receive the full fairy-tale treatment courtesy of the Fairy Godmothers-in-training of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the “first mates” of the Pirates League. There are even special transformations for Disney Cruise Line’s Star Wars Day at Sea.
