Disney Cruise Line has shared its itineraries for early 2022, as well as an update on the newest ship in the magical fleet, the Disney Wish.
Bookings for early 2022 itineraries will open to the public on Oct. 22, 2020, with sailings planned for the Bahamas, Carribean and Mexico; and departures from New Orleans, Galveston, San Diego, Miami, and Port Canaveral.
Hawaiian islands cruises from Honolulu and Vancouver
The Disney Wonder will return to Hawaii in early 2022 for two 10-night cruises: a trip to Honolulu from Vancouver, Canada on April 26, and a return sailing to Vancouver on May 6.
More family vacations from Florida
Travelers can combine a Disney Cruise with a stay at Walt Disney World Resort in early 2022 with two ships sailing from Port Canaveral near Orlando, Fla., and a third ship departing from Miami. Every cruise from Florida in early 2022 includes a visit to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island.
- From Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will travel on a six-night Western Caribbean cruise followed by a seven-night voyage to a variety of destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
- The Disney Dream, also departing from Port Canaveral, will sail on three- and four-night Bahamian cruises to Nassau and Castaway Cay. One four-night cruise includes two stops at Castaway Cay.
- From Miami, the Disney Magic will sail on four- and five-night Bahamian cruises and five-night Western Caribbean cruises. One three-night sailing to Castaway Cay and Key West, Fla. will also be offered.
Tropical travels from Galveston and New Orleans
The Disney Wonder will sail on Western Caribbean cruises early in 2022, first from Galveston, Texas with four-night itineraries, followed by four- and six-night voyages from New Orleans.
A six-night Bahamian cruise offered from both Galveston and New Orleans will offer stops in both Castaway Cay and Key West.
Baja getaways from San Diego
The Disney Wonder will return to San Diego in March and April with cruises to Baja, Mexico. Most sailings to the Baja peninsula will visit the coastal city of Ensenada, known for its turquoise waters and rugged mountain terrain. A two-night cruise to Ensenada has a Friday departure from San Diego, offering guests the chance to enjoy a fun weekend getaway Disney Cruise-style.
Four- and five-night Baja cruises include a visit to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, or to Catalina Island off the California coast.
Originally planned to set sail in early 2022, the Disney Wish is now scheduled to have its maiden voyage in summer 2022 as a result of pandemic-relayed delays at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Germany.
