Disney ditches Jessie for margaritas at Magic Kingdom

Disney has announced that The Diamond Horseshoe will reopen this fall with a limited-time menu centered on margaritas and seasonal bites, replacing the temporary Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue that filled the Frontierland (technically Liberty Square) restaurant during Cool Kids’ Summer, which ends Sept. 8, 2026.

Just hours after Disney executives pointed to “ToyStory 5” as a major attendance driver during the company’s earnings call, Magic Kingdom is heading in a very different direction.

An earlier version of this article incorrectly identified several menu items and beverages that were not included in Disney’s announcement. The article has been updated to accurately reflect the information provided by Disney.

Diamond Horseshoe gets a new fall menu

Available this fall through the holiday season, The Diamond Horseshoe will serve a limited-time menu inspired by the Wild, Wild West.

It’s going to be a unique place to enjoy seasonal beverages inside Magic Kingdom.

A standout item is a drink mixed with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, strawberry, and hot honey garnished with a chili-lime rim. (Non-alcoholic beverage).

The Diamond Horseshoe’s featured savory offering is a charcuterie board designed for sharing. The platter has cured beef, “fancy bacon,” smoked pork, green chile cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles, giving guests a hearty Frontierland-inspired snack that Disney says is fit for both “fine city folk and cowboys alike.” Disney also teased that additional shareable small plates will be announced at a later date.

To complement the food, guests can sip on the Prickly Pear Margarita, a colorful seasonal cocktail.

The offering marks a temporary change for the Frontierland restaurant, which has operated in several different formats over the years, from stage shows to family-style dining.

Replacing Jessie’s Roundup

The new menu arrives this fall after Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue, part of Magic Kingdom’s Cool Kids’ Summer celebration.

The limited-time experience transformed The Diamond Horseshoe into a Toy Story-themed venue where Jessie, Bullseye, and Woody led interactive singing, dancing, and games.

The Toy Story experience will conclude as Disney shifts the restaurant to its new seasonal food-and-drink concept.
