Disneyana Fan Club to host two special events at Disneyland Hotel on Oct. 6

The Disneyana Fan Club is hosting two events on Oct. 6, one to celebrate 95 years of Disney magic and the other to celebrate the “A Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay of the Haunted Mansion.

“A Mouse of a Party” Breakfast

Guests can celebrate 95 years of Disney magic with this special breakfast event. Guest speakers will include Mike and Patty Peraza (art director and animator), Bret Iwan (Mickey Mouse), Bill Farmer (Goofy and Pluto), and Bill Rogers and Cami Dixon (announcers at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure).

The speakers will discuss the history and impact of The Walt Disney Company on its 95th anniversary, as well as celebrate the 90th anniversary of Mickey and Minnie’s debut in “Steamboat Willie”!

Mike Peraza will also be honored with the Disneyana Fan Club’s Disney Legend award during the event.

“A Nightmare of a Celebration” Dinner

Later that evening, guests can learn more about “The Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay at the Haunted Mansion attraction in Disneyland from Garner Holt, founder of Garner Holt Productions; Bill Butler, creative director of Garner Holt Productions; and former Imagineer Mitch Atkins.

The dinner will include a silent auction to benefit Ryman Arts, which offers art instruction, college guidance, art supplies and support to Southern California students with little access to art at their schools.

Both events will be held in the Disneyland Hotel’s Magic Kingdom Ballroom, with breakfast starting at 9 a.m. and dinner at 5 p.m. Discount parking rates will be available at the Disneyland Hotel parking lot with validation.

• Breakfast – $74 per person
• Dinner – $129
• “A Mouse and a Nightmare” combo price – $190, plus a free ticket to the Disneyana Collectible show and sale on Oct. 7
