Disneyland 2026 monthly calendar | New attractions, refurbishments, & special events
The Disneyland 2026 monthly calendar features the return of fan-favorite festivals and after-hours events as well as several new experiences and—after a pause for Halloween and the holidays—the return of several 70th-anniversary entertainment offerings.
January 2026
- Jan. 1-7: Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
- Jan. 8: “Wondrous Journeys” fireworks spectacular returns (through Aug. 9)
- Jan. 8: Characters return to 70th Celebration outfits (through Aug. 9)
- Jan. 9: The “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade returns (through Aug. 9)
- Jan. 12-22: Haunted Mansion closed for removal of Holiday overlay
- Jan. 16: Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour returns (separately ticketed; bookings open Jan. 8)

- Jan. 20: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance closes for refurbishment (return date TBA)
- Jan. 21: Disneyland Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer available for purchase (tickets valid May 22 – Sept. 7)
- Jan. 22, 25, & 27: Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
- Jan. 23-31: Lunar New Year in California Adventure – Ring in the Year of the Horse with Horace Horsecollar and other Disney characters in all-new Vietnamese and Chinese attire along with Mickey and Minnie in their Korean-inspired outfits.
- Jan. 26: It’s a Small World closes for removal of Holiday overlay (reopening date TBA)
- Jan. 30: “Paint the Night” parade returns (through Aug. 9, 2026)
February 2026
- Feb. 1-22: Lunar New Year in California Adventure
- Feb. 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, & 17: Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
- Feb. 20 & 21: Celebrate Gospel (featuring Hezekiah Walker on Feb. 21) – In 2026, the annual concert of performances by Southern California community choirs will move to the Downtown Disney District
- Feb. 22: Anaheim Ducks Day in California Adventure – A one-day event featuring appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players, hockey-themed entertainment and activities, and photo ops.
- Feb. 27 & 28: Celebrate Gospel in the Downtown Disney District (featuring Yolanda Adams on Feb. 28)
March 2026
- March 3 & 5: Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed) – An all-new after-hours celebration featuring favorite musical moments, shows, and characters from the park’s 70-year history
- March 6-31: Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
- March 22: Debut of “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” in Disneyland Park – Guests can join Bluey and Bingo for an interactive experience featuring music and games from the hit kid’s series.
April 2026
- April 1-7: Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
- April 12, 14 & 16: Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
- April 28: Hyperspace Mountain attraction overlay returns
- April 28 & 30: Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
May 2026
- May 4 & 6: Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
- May 22: Debut of “The Mandalorian and Grogu” mission and new tech in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
June 2026
- June 16 & 18: Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite in Disneyland Park (separately ticketed)
- June 19: Disney On the Yard in Downtown Disney District – The community event returns for its second year to celebrate the traditions of historically Black colleges and universities with drum majors and Drum Major Mickey accompanied by a drumline.
July 2026
- July 2: Soarin’ Across America opens at California Adventure – To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Soarin’ will receive an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S.
- Mid-July: Redwood Creek Challenge Trail closes for Villains Grove installation
August 2026
- Early August: Haunted Mansion closes for Holiday overlay Installation (date TBA)
- Aug. 9: Last day for Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration
- Aug. 13: D23 Day
- Aug. 13-16: Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party in California Adventure/Downtown Disney – A one-day in-park special event featuring live entertainment, Disney Jr. characters, activities, and photo opportunities (Aug. 13), plus a three-day event in Downtown Disney (Aug. 14-16)
- Aug. 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, & 30: Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party in California Adventure (separately ticketed)
- Aug. 21-31: Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort
- Aug. 21-31: Plaza de la Familia in California Adventure
September 2026
