Disneyland Paris invited us for their yearly Christmas event dedicated to their community. We all met on this cold December morning at the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, where a jolly celebration awaited us in the convention center.

Greeted by melodies from the “Frozen” animated movies on the piano and the presence of the Arendelle sisters Elsa and Anna, the themes of the conference seemed clear. We headed to our seats and get ready for a peek into the future of Disneyland Paris, including the new World of Frozen opening at the soon-to-be-renamed Disney Adventure World (currently Walt Disney Studios Park).

It must be noted that, as is custom, the Disney VoluntEARS are also present to collect toys for hospitalized children, a showcase of Disneyland Paris’ commitment to bringing the magic to everyone for the holidays.

So, what’s to come?

Disney Adventure World (current Walt Disney Studios Park)

Minnie’s Dream Factory

Starting on Feb. 7, 2026, at Studio D, the Dream Factory opens its gates once again to the public with a new cast of characters and storyline.

Show Director Susan Plyer tells us the show has been reimagined with Minnie Mouse in charge of the factory, accompanied by Daisy and Donald Duck, as well as Chip and Dale. The formula has been reworked to be much closer to a musical than its predecessor, with live performers accompanying our cast of characters.

A 30-second snippet of one of the show songs was revealed to set the tone. According to Plyer, who spent an extensive amount of time researching the Disney musical archives, the music will be at the heart of this new story.

Rémy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Scheduled to reopen in spring 2026, Rémy’s kitchen is currently undergoing a long refurbishment. The trackless ride is saying goodbye to the 3D (a change that also just occurred at the ride’s U.S. counterpart at Epcot) as well as refreshing some scenes and adding some enhancements in the queue. Design and Show Quality Imagineer Lara McLean shared a few visuals of the changes coming soon to the attraction.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

A few more details on the covered queue work and new shop replacing the old FastPass machines area were shown. The queue is set to be the old pool area of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Adventure Way

This promenade opening on March 29, 2026, not only will lead us to the brand-new World of Frozen but will also be the home of new experiences for everyone to enjoy.

Starting with the Regal View Restaurant, the summer home of our favorite Disney Princesses, a few visuals were shared for what guests will find on the menu. Emphasis was set on the theming aspect of the food, as well as the fact that the Regal View Lounge will be the first in-park bar at Disneyland Paris. A selection of Kirs based on 12 princesses was revealed as the first offer to this new experience. Operational costumes for the restaurant were on display around the room.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse joined the fun to show off their new exclusive costumes for Adventure Way.

Michel Den Dulk, VP – Portfolio Executive Creative Director at WDI Paris, joined the conversation to discuss once again Rapunzel’s Tangled Spin, a teacup-like ride, as well as an “Up”-themed swing ride and the English Gardens that will populate Adventure Way.

Dulk was later joined by Philippe Rombi, a French composer known for his movie soundtracks, who created the Adventure Way original score. After sharing some insights on how the melody came to be and some behind the scenes from the Abbey Road Studio recording session, Rombi delighted us on the piano with a six-minute live performance of the original score. It was pure magic that sure left us dreaming and impatient to discover the new area this spring.

World of Frozen

This upcoming March 29, guests at Disney Adventure World will finally be able to enjoy the Kingdom of Arendelle with the new World of Frozen — complete with the Frozen Ever After boat ride (which previously opened at Epcot and Hong Kong Disneyland) and a free-roaming Olaf animatronic.

During the presentation, a few food offerings were showcased. Merch exclusive to the Paris version of the land was also on display in the convention center as well as presented on screen.

A special accent was put on Runa, the interactive troll toy for guests to adopt. The troll will talk to guests and adapt their dialogue to their surroundings or shows, reminding some of us of Pal Mickey, the Mickey doll from years ago at Walt Disney World with a very similar purpose.

Operational costumes for World of Frozen were on display around the room.

‘Disney Cascade of Lights’

With the new lake adorning Adventure Way, a new nighttime show called “Disney Cascade of Lights” will close out the day for guests at Disney Adventure World. Susan Plyer and Ben Spalding from Disney Live Entertainment brought a few visuals and an exclusive work-in-progress shot of the “Moana” section of the show for us to feast our eyes on.

Disney Adventure World merchandise

A new collection of goods was shared with us during the conference, both on screen and on display around the conference room. An “anticipation” collection before the big day arrives and a collection for the new identity of Disney Adventure World has been developed, making sure everyone has something to celebrate the event. A new fun map of this refreshed second gate will be available, giving equal representation to both parks.

Disneyland Park

Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast

Reopening the end of this year, Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast has gone under refurbishment for extensive target replacements, paint jobs, and general maintenance. A few images of the Imagineers at work gave us a little taste of the fresh-looking fan-favorite before it comes back.

Rivers of the Far West

At the end of summer 2026, the Paris version of Rivers of America will undergo a lengthy refurbishment to receive some brand-new touches of magic. While Magic Kingdom’s has been set to be replaced by “Cars”-themed attractions and Villains Land, the Paris version fares much better, set to receive new scenes directly inspired by illustrations from none other than Disney Legend Marc Davis. A few technical drawings and workshop pictures of some figures were shown to celebrate the progress of this project.

Disney Village and Hotels

Annette’s Diner

Closing on January 6, 2026, Annette’s Diner, the signature restaurant of Disney Village, will undergo some well-deserved refurbishment. Not many details are known, but a preliminary concept piece was shown, and work on the kitchens as well as new seats similar to vintage car parts were mentioned.

Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel

Starting January 2026, Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel will change to a refreshed version of itself while staying true to its warm and cozy woods feeling. The atmosphere will now revolve around celebrating nature and Disney animated characters living in the woods. The hotel shall remain open while work is done, preventing any negative impact on guests with a phase-by-phase schedule.
