Olaf walking animatronic coming to 2 Disney theme parks
Olaf from “Frozen” will appear as a walking, free-roaming Audio-Animatronics figure in two Disney theme parks starting in 2026.

Olaf will debut in World of Frozen, a theme park land already open at Hong Kong Disneyland and opening at Disney Adventure World (the future name of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris) on March 29, 2026.
Disney revealed the Olaf animatronic in the Nov. 24 episode of “We Call It Imagineering” on the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel.

Olaf can walk around on his own and talk. Just like in the movie, he can even remove his carrot nose.

The new walking Olaf animatronic represents the latest evolution in Disney’s ongoing free-roaming Audio-Animatronics figures. Recent examples include the BDX droids in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and H.E.R.B.I.E. from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” in Disneyland.

World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World follows the opening of a land of the same name at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023. Like Hong Kong, Paris’ World of Frozen will include a version of Epcot’s Frozen Ever After boat ride.
