Disneyland to debut new ‘Elemental’ short before ‘World of Color – One’
As part of the ongoing Disney100 celebration, Disneyland will honor the “Wonder of Pixar” in June, including a new “Elemental” short presented before “World of Color – One” at California Adventure.
Beginning June 2, 2023, a new limited-time two-minute water short called “Elemental Connection” will showcase Disney and Pixar’s latest film, “Elemental,” by bringing land, air, water, and fire residents of Element City to life through projections across the park’s massive water screens.
The short will tell the story of the movie’s two main characters – fire element Ember (voiced by Leah Lewis) and water element Wade (voiced by Mamoudou Athie) – as viewers learn “stepping out of their element will help them discover who they really are.”
“Elemental” premieres in theaters on June 16, 2023. You can also visit Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Experience, a mall tour heading to five cities in New York, Illinois, Texas, and California through June 18, 2023.
