Over the next few years, guests at Walt Disney World Resort can expect to see some exciting new enhancements at Disney’s BoardWalk. From new dining experiences to updates at Disney’s BoardWalk, here are some of the upcoming enhancements and offerings.

Disney’s BoardWalk is a celebrated destination for guests of all ages, offering unique dining, entertainment, and shopping experiences for all.
The themed boardwalk promenade will soon welcome a number of new experiences, including The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. Expected to open in 2023, this table service restaurant and bakery will offer a variety of sweet and savory treats, desserts, and afternoon tea. Since all the baked goods will be available at The Cake Bake Shop, the existing BoardWalk Bakery will be transforming into a sandwich shop. It will join other new quick-service additions such as BoardWalk Ice Cream.

More new offerings and enhancements can be found inside Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The lobby, lounge, and guest rooms will all receive light and airy updates to enhance the seaside theming. Additionally, a new coffee shop will be opening right outside of the hotel lobby. The shop will offer quick bites and artisanal beverages, and it will feature both indoor and outdoor seating for guests.
The new updates throughout Disney’s BoardWalk will appear over the course of a few years. Be sure to check back at AttractionsMagazine.com for the latest updates.

Any word on if or when the ESPN Club will be reopening at the Boardwalk?
Vinnie, I just found out today
ESPN is no more. They are closing for a cake shop??? I can’t tell how disappointing This is. There is no better time to vacation Than the fall on the Boardwalk when football is in full swing
I’ve met so many people from around the world watching sports at ESPN. This is reall disappointing.
