Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando officially opens near Disney Springs
The Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando has officially opened in the Disney Springs area, offering Orlando visitors another hotel choice near Walt Disney World.
Even though the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando welcomed it’s first guests back on Dec. 7, 2022, the hotel’s official opening recently occurred.
The hotel on Hotel Plaza Boulevard is within reasonable walking distance of Disney Springs (the former location of the Best Western Disney Springs). Guests can also take advantage free shuttle transportation to the four Walt Disney World theme parks. In addition, guests receive several other notable perks included with the price of their stay like early theme park entry and complimentary hot breakfast and signature “Kickback” meal service from 5:30 until 7:00 each evening. As an added plus this hotel does not charge resort fees, unlike many hotels in the Disney Springs area.
The Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando also features pool-side and lobby restaurants and bars, counter-service options with a selection of grab-and-go items (including Pizza Hut and Starbucks), a 24-hour fitness facility, a lobby business center, a resort-style saltwater pool with splash pad, and a game arcade.

The Hotel’s anticipated completion date is Spring 2023. When fully complete, the hotel will feature 604 rooms, including 78 two-room suites that sleep six guests.
This Drury hotel location is the second for the brand in the Orlando area, with the Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort, which opened in 2012, offering similar guest amenities.
