‘Fantasmic!’ returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in November
Finally, it returns…”Fantasmic!” is coming back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This show will continue its same overall storyline, but offering new projections and an updated “Pocahontas” scene. With new technology, new characters, and the same iconic soundtrack, we will soon once again see Steamboat Willie come around that corner with a huge cast of characters.
Just announced by the Disney parks, “Fantasmic!” is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this November. This fan-favorite show will have an updated storyline and a re-energized cast as they bring back one of the most beloved Disney parks shows in the world. There is no exact opening date set, but with the announcement of November, we know this show must be nearly finished with rehearsals. And, this sooner show date also puts our minds to ease for possible stage damage from Hurricane Ian.
Earlier this year we were able to talk to Disney representatives about the return of Fantasmic! and what we can expect to see from the this updated show. The updated Fantasmic! will have all new audio systems, laser systems, and lighting effects. There will also be an updated Pocahontas section, as well as new appearances from Mulan, Elsa, Aladdin, and Moana.
