New Fast & Furious collectible popcorn buckets race into theaters this August

Fans of “The Fast and the Furious” will soon be able to bring home new popcorn buckets and a collectible drink sipper inspired by the franchise. Cinemark has revealed a lineup of concession collectibles tied to the film’s 25th anniversary theatrical re-release, which begins Aug. 21.

In an Instagram reel, Cinemark displayed three collectible concessions items that fans of “The Fast and the Furious” will be able to grab while supplies last. First up is Dom’s “Fast X” Dodge Charger, in popcorn bucket form. The popcorn bucket is a replica of the fan-favorite racing vehicle, and has a flip-open top that opens to hold a storage area for the large-sized, freshly-popped popcorn that comes with it.

There’s also a 30-ounce tin popcorn bucket (with a lid) covered in license plates. Among the plates? “3NTQ305,” the plate number of the late Paul Walker’s Brian O’Connor’s orange 1994 Toyota Supra from the original film. And, there’s a drink sipper that’s modeled after a blue can of NOS (nitrous oxide), complete with a valve and gauge on top.

Cinemark and Regal Cinemas shared a post about both popcorn containers. It’s possible these collectibles could sell out. After all, there are currently 11 movies in the “The Fast and the Furious” universe, with one more, “Fast Forever” releasing in March 2028.

And, in addition to the films, the franchise has inspired the Fast & Furious: Supercharged and Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift attractions at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. With such an impressive fandom, it’ll be a good idea to grab your movie tickets and collectible concession items as fast as Dom drives.

Theater chains have not announced pricing for the collectibles. For comparison, a similar Dodge Charger-shaped popcorn bucket sold at AMC Theatres for the release of “Fast X” in 2023 for $49.99, according to Reddit.
