First-ever ‘Fraggle Rock Live’ stage show is going on tour
The first-ever Fraggle Rock stage show, “Fraggle Rock Live,” will star characters from the original Jim Henson series and new ones.
The brand-new interactive, live musical adventure will catch up with beloved characters from the original show and the hit Emmy Award-winning “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock “Apple TV+ reboot as Gobo Fraggle discovers a legend about a long-lost Fraggle treasure and embarks on an adventure to find it.
The Search for the Song Stone
Legend says the Song Stone can provide “the greatest song ever heard in Fraggle history,” but the Stone has been lost and forgotten over time, so the “Fraggle Five” decide to find it.
In the show, Gobo, Mokey, Boober, Wembly, and Red learn from Marjory the Trash Heap that previous generations never appreciated the Song Stone’s value, so it was broken into multiple pieces. Therefore, their quest is to locate all the lost pieces and restore the Song Stone before it’s treasured song is lost forever.
“Fraggle Rock Live” Features Fraggles Old and New
“Fraggle Rock Live” will feature new walk-around versions of the Fraggles, puppet-sized and mechanized Doozers, appearances from the giant Gorgs, and exclusive new magical puppet creatures from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Written and directed by John Tartaglia, the Creative Supervisor of Fraggle Rock for The Jim Henson Company (“Avenue Q,” “Shrek the Musical”), the new musical stage show includes favorite songs, immersive special effects like bubbles, black light, and confetti, hilarious new characters, and much more.
