First Look POV on Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure
This morning, Universal Orlando debuted a first look front-row point-of-view (POV) video of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure. This highly-anticipated new roller coaster will take riders on numerous inversions, two separate launches, and up a top-hat that climbs over 150 feet in the air.
The VelociCoaster does not officially open until June 10, but some guests have been able to get on early during soft openings. Reviews so far have announced the ride as a smash hit, with many calling it their new favorite roller coaster in Florida.
Take a look for yourself at this coaster of Jurassic proportions in the video on this page! If you need more prehistoric fun, Universal also recently opened up a Jurassic World Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida.

Definitely not a ride for me
Too fast and too many inversions
I’ll stick to the Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom
And thanks for allowing me to ride a second consecutive time a few Saturdays ago
VelociCoaster is definitely intense! It was nice to meet you, and I’m glad you had fun.
Love the ride but the park and line rules ruined it! I had a torn ACL and was using a scooter. Those are not allowed on the line. It was clear the do not respect disability laws. The even required me to remove the brace so they coud make sure i was not hiding a phone. The invasion is beyond wrong!
The velocicoaster was hands down the best Rollercoaster I have ever been on. My 10 year old daughter went on her first rollercoaster and this was it! The best ride ever!
