Team members from across lines of business were able to run with the raptors, and took to social media to share their initial thoughts.
A common sentiment across the many reactions is that theme park fans are “not ready” to experience what this roller coaster has to offer.
Some team members had overwhelming reactions to the ride, with one even calling it “the best coaster experience” they’ve ever had.
Another common reaction among riders was that there was no on-board audio or music during the actual coaster experience, though many hope that this is just temporary due to the attraction being in technical rehearsal. Others found it fun but not as mind-blowing as they had hoped.
There was much praise for the VelociCoaster’s queue, and many were impressed with the presence of a hyper-realistic velociraptor animatronic.
Queue is excellent. There are great statues, a few very realistic animatronics that are mostly stationary but very convincing, some great preshow films and theming (featuring Owen and Claire) AND Mr. DNA.

There was even an evacuation during today’s previews, which was an immediate bragging right for one team member:
Team members even had a chance to see inside the new gift shop, located in the downstairs section of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center at the exit of the VelociCoaster.
It’s safe to say that Jurassic World VelociCoaster is a hit among team members, and with Passholder Previews coming this weekend, the praise is sure to keep on rolling.
