These costumes will feature four different tops and five different bottoms that can be mixed and matched in 20 different combinations. Tunics, jackets, coats, accessories, hats, scarves, and more will help cast members customize their Galaxy’s Edge attire.
Each line of business in the land will use these as a “base” costume and have specific overlays that relate to their role, like the food & beverage costumes above. Custodial will also have a variety of costumes in the “villager” style.

And if you’re wondering about how these costumes will fare in the Florida heat, don’t worry! These costumes look rather bulky and layered, but the fabrics and materials used are breathable and light; some have athletic wicking to help with overheating. Many of these costume pieces like the jackets, scarves, and others will be optional during the hotter Florida months.
The costumes for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will have cast members choosing between the Resistance and the First Order with both sides represented.
The costumes will also feature brand-new land-specific nametags for cast members. The nametags will feature the cast member’s name, their name in Aurebesh, and an “homage to Black Spire Outpost.”
Disneyland’s version is set to open on May 31, 2019, and Walt Disney World’s will open on Aug. 29, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
