Hallmark Christmas movies will come to life at new 2024 attraction
Hallmark Christmas movies will leap from the small screen to real life at the Hallmark Christmas Experience, a new attraction opening for the 2024 holiday season and featuring appearances by Hallmark stars.

Walking in a winter wonderland of Hallmark Christmas movies
Ever wanted to step into a Hallmark Christmas movie? You can do just that at the Hallmark Christmas Experience, a new, free attraction debuting this holiday season in Kansas City, Mo.
The Hallmark Christmas Experience will feature:
- nightly Christmas tree lightings
- photo ops
- card-sending station
- community mural
Upcharge offerings will include ice-skating and gift-wrapping, as well as a Christmas lights trail, holiday refreshments, official Hallmark merchandise, souvenirs from local vendors, events with Hallmark stars (see below), and the Hallmark Christmas Chalet, a pop-up bar.
Hallmark Christmas Experience will take place at the Crown Center on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Nov. 29 – Dec. 22, 2024, as well as Monday, Dec. 23, 2024. The Crown Center is also home to Hallmark’s headquarters (complete with the free, museum-like Visitors Center), the Sea Life aquarium, Lego Discovery Center, and other attractions.
Meet the stars of Hallmark Christmas movies
Hallmark will utilize the attraction as a venue for ticketed events with stars from Hallmark Christmas movies. Such packages include photos with the actors and access to special panels, movie screenings, and the Reindeer Games, a friendly competition among the stars.
At the time of this writing, tickets for Weekend 4 (Dec. 20-21, 2024) are all that remain for special packages. Hallmark stars appearing that weekend will include Aimee Garcia, Autumn Reeser, Barbara Niven, Brennan Elliott, Brooke D’Orsay, Marcus Rosner, Niall Matter, Rachel Boston, and Victor Webster.
Again, admission to the Hallmark Christmas Experience in and of itself (without ticketed packages) will be free and open all four weekends.
New Hallmark Christmas movies for 2024
Also in Kansas City, production will begin soon on “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” a new Hallmark Christmas movie focused on the romance between a Kansas City Chiefs superfan (Hunter King) and the NFL team’s director of fan engagement (Tyler Hynes).
Other new Hallmark Christmas movies for 2024 will include:
- “The Christmas Quest” starring Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha
- “Three Wiser Men and a Boy, “a sequel to “Three Wise Men and a Baby” and starring Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Margaret Colin
- “Santa Tell Me” starring Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing from “When Calls the Heart”
At the time of this writing, Hallmark has not announced when its holiday programming will begin for the 2024 season. In 2023, Countdown to Christmas started on Oct. 20. Among all of its platforms, Hallmark debuted 40 new Christmas movies last year.
‘Everything that the Christmas season conveys’
Bay Laurel Advisors (BLA), a developer of location-based themed entertainment, will collaborate with Hallmark to create the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City.
“Hallmark represents everything that the Christmas season conveys,” said George Wade, founder of BLA. “This is a first-of-its kind event that weaves all aspects of the company into a singular holiday event for all ages.”
Hallmark and BLA previously worked together to create The Crayola Experience. (Crayola is a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards.) A new Crayola Experience location will open this fall in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. BLA is also behind The Friends Experience touring attraction (which will soon open a permanent Las Vegas location), among other experiences.
