Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up at Disney Springs: What to know before you go

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. – Christmas is arriving early at Disney Springs, where a new Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up Shop opens Wednesday, Oct. 7, filled with the warm reds, evergreen hues and familiar Disney details of a storybook holiday.

The limited-time shop brings Hallmark’s Christmas traditions together with Walt Disney World, including merchandise inspired by the new Hallmark Channel movie “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.” And if you’re hoping to be among the first through the doors, there are a few important opening-day details to know before heading to Disney Springs.

Disney has advised guests that an in-person virtual wait list may be used, merchandise restrictions may apply and the Lime and Orange garages are recommended for visitors. Disney Springs parking garages open at 9 a.m.

There is one more consideration for anyone planning an opening-day visit: Wednesday is expected to be an especially wet day in Central Florida, so umbrellas, ponchos and a little flexibility may be as useful as a Christmas shopping list.

Where is the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up at Disney Springs?

During our recent visit to Disney Springs, Attractions Magazine found the future shop dressed with its new Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up signage. Hallmark’s familiar script logo now stretches across the storefront, with a red Holiday Pop-Up sign hanging outside.
The temporary shop is located in Town Center near Gateway to Discovery and the Disney Springs Welcome Center.

Lime Garage is the closest parking garage, which also helps explain Disney’s recommendation to use Lime or Orange Garage for opening day.

Hallmark Disney holiday merchandise

We first spotted several of the collection’s Disney Parks-inspired pieces this spring, including the red Mickey Mouse Keepsake Ornament, Jingle Cruise ornament and elaborate Cinderella Castle tree topper; see our original look at the “Holiday Ever After” collection here.

Mickey and Minnie appear bundled for the holidays in coordinating plush designs, while a soft throw features Cinderella Castle surrounded by red and green fireworks, Christmas trees and other Walt Disney World details. The same whimsical artwork carries over to coordinating pajamas.

Even the smaller touches are dressed for Christmas. Preview images show a shiny red Mickey-shaped ornament that we’ve speculated has some significance in the movie itself. Hallmark greeting cards and elaborate “Holiday Ever After” gift packaging decorated with Mickey, Minnie and vintage-inspired holiday artwork are also expected.

The collection’s palette of candy-apple red, evergreen and snowy white feels especially at home with Hallmark, while Cinderella Castle, Mickey and Minnie keep the collection rooted firmly in a Walt Disney World Christmas.

And this year, that little taste of the holidays arrives particularly early: the pop-up opens more than a month before Walt Disney World’s holiday season begins Nov. 13.
