Universal cuts Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour in half with new ticket
Universal Orlando has added a new five-house R.I.P. Tour for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, giving guests a shorter alternative to the traditional guided experience. Despite the headline, Universal has not eliminated or reduced its standard R.I.P. Tour, which still includes priority access to all 10 haunted houses.
The new option starts at $299.99 per person, plus tax, and requires guests to choose either a North or South route when booking. Each route visits five different, predetermined haunted houses.

For years, Halloween Horror Nights has offered an expensive but worth-it R.I.P. Tour experience. Thankfully, that splurge of an experience is still available, but something new arrives for 2026. The new 5-House Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour cuts the park and half, offering a lower tour price and a “diet” version of the famous R.I.P. tour experience.
What the new five-house R.I.P. Tour includes
The five-house tour starts at $299.99 per person and includes:
- Guided priority entry to five houses, once per house
- Universal Express Unlimited access at participating regular attractions
- A commemorative credential, lanyard and button
Separate Halloween Horror Nights admission is required for the same night.

The product listing also does not advertise the reception, valet parking or reserved show seating included with the traditional tour.
Which side is which? North vs. South
Guests booking the new experience can choose the route featuring the houses they’re most excited to experience.
North Tour
- H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular
- Invasion: Alien Abduction
- Cybergoria
- Hellraiser
- Sinners
South Tour
- Stranger Things 5
- Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control
- Madlands: Caged Cannibals
- Evil Dead Burn
- One more haunted house to be announced at a later date
The full R.I.P. Tour is still available
Guests who want guided priority access to the complete 10-house lineup can still book the traditional R.I.P. Tour. That experience also includes light appetizers, complimentary valet parking, reserved seating at select shows and Unlimited Express access at participating regular attractions. Best of all, your tour guide will personalize your experience, though you may be at the mercy of your group’s desires too.
The five-house ticket is an additional, lower-priced tier—not a replacement for the full Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour.
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup
Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs for 48 select nights from Aug. 28-Nov. 1, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida. This year’s HHN lineup features 10 haunted houses, including “Stranger Things 5,” “Sinners,” “Hellraiser,” “H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular,” “Madlands: Caged Cannibals,” “Invasion: Alien Abduction” and “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.”
Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow will preside over the anniversary event. Two additional haunted houses and more scare zones are still expected to be revealed.
