Harry Potter Krispy Kreme doughnuts launching nationwide with ‘Houses of Hogwarts Day’
Harry Potter Krispy Kreme doughnuts inspired by all four Hogwarts houses launch nationwide Aug. 18, plus a Sorting Hat surprise and special Hogwarts event with free food on Aug. 23.
Krispy Kreme, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, announced the release of the Harry Potter Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection. This limited-time series of themed doughnuts and beverages will be available nationwide beginning Monday, Aug. 18.
The collection features four signature doughnuts inspired by the four houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each design incorporates flavors and colors representing Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.
Harry Potter x Krispy Kreme
The Harry Potter Krispy Kreme collection includes:
- The Gryffindor Doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with cookie butter-flavored Kreme, dipped in red icing, topped with Biscoff cookie crumble, finished with golden icing drizzle, and the Gryffindor crest.
- The Slytherin Doughnut features Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed base topped with chocolate and green buttercream swirls, a chocolate cookie sugar blend, and the Slytherin crest.
- The Hufflepuff Doughnut contains brown butter toffee-flavored custard in an unglazed shell, covered in golden yellow icing, with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch, and the Hufflepuff crest.
- The Ravenclaw Doughnut uses an Original Glazed base coated in blueberry-flavored icing, topped with themed sprinkles and the Ravenclaw crest.
In addition to the house-themed designs, Krispy Kreme will introduce the Sorting Hat Doughnut. This item contains a mystery-colored “Kreme” filling representing one of the four Hogwarts houses; you won’t know which house you’re sorted into until you take a bite! It is dipped in chocolate-flavored icing, topped with shimmering gold stars and sugar, and finished with an edible Sorting Hat piece. The Sorting Hat Doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition specialty box.
The Harry Potter Krispy Kreme collection also includes a new beverage, the Golden Snitch Latte. The drink features golden caramel toffee flavors, topped with whipped cream, Biscoff cookie crumble, and golden shimmer sugar.
Houses of Hogwarts Day – August 23

A nationwide event, Houses of Hogwarts Day, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 23. Krispy Kreme guests wearing apparel or accessories representing their chosen Hogwarts house will receive one free Original Glazed doughnut at participating locations while supplies last.

Beginning Sept. 1, Krispy Kreme will offer guests the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes for a trip to either Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando Resort. Winners will experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which features attractions and immersive areas inspired by the book and film series.
The Harry Potter Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection will be sold individually and in themed dozen boxes. Select retailers will also carry a six-pack assortment. The collection will be available for purchase in-store, through the Krispy Kreme website, and via the Krispy Kreme app for pickup or delivery.
