Hershey expands resort options with luxury villas and new family hotel
As Pennsylvania shakes off winter and warmer weather returns, Hershey is giving travelers new reasons to plan an overnight getaway. This year, visitors have two standout new ways to stay on property while enjoying the rides, shows, sweet treats, and resort perks that come with an official Hersheypark vacation.

The Villas at The Hotel Hershey offer an elevated stay
Last year, The Villas at The Hotel Hershey debuted, adding a new level of exclusive-feeling hospitality to the already impeccable resort. This will be the first spring season following the expansion and with the addition of nine brand-new villas, the property now offers 98 rooms, providing the Hotel’s most luxurious accommodations.
Hersheypark is planning a big summer celebration, making this a great time to plan a trip. In fact, Attractions Magazine included Hersheypark in the seven best summer vacation spots list.

Arrival experience
A stay in the Villas begins by checking in at the Hotel Hershey’s lobby – but with a twist. A separate private check-in desk begins that feeling of personal attention. From there, a short trip down the hill away from the main building puts you in what feels like a home away from home, Hershey style.
A modern suburban neighborhood vibe is perfectly manicured, with easy parking just outside your room. Set apart from the main building, the villas offer a quieter, more secluded atmosphere with nearby parking and a residential-style setting.

Rooms are more spacious than standard hotel accommodations and include modern bathrooms, large soaking tubs, generous walk-in closets, and upscale finishes throughout.
The notion of the villa expands to the whole neighborhood, providing special access to the surrounding grounds and, of particular note, the concierge lounge.

Exclusive lounge access and added amenities
One of the biggest perks of staying at The Villas is access to the concierge lounge. Within the lounge, which is freely open from breakfast into the evening, guests of The Villas at Hotel Hershey can enjoy a light meal in the morning to get started, then come back later for unlimited Hershey treats – dark chocolates, peanut butter and double chocolate cookies, chocolate muffins, fruits, juices, fountain drinks, chips, tea, charcuterie, and beer and wine at happy hour, all included.

After dark, a highlight of every stay at The Villas is a chance to enjoy even more chocolate by roasting Hershey’s s’mores over the fire pit.

Guests of The Villas at The Hotel Hershey receive lots of perks. One of the big highlights is that Hersheypark admission is included with every day of your stay. Happening at Hershey
With America’s 250th celebration arriving this summer, Hersheypark will play its part with events all summer long.
Across the 121-acre amusement park this summer will be patriotic decor, photo opportunities and new red, white and blue ride and light packages. Hershey characters will don special patriotic costumes. Fireworks displays will begin on May 23, continuing on Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4, and Saturday, August 8.

Hersheypark will also debut a new indoor live music show called Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook, featuring Rock, Pop, Country and Soul anthems from throughout the country’s history.
Hersheypark amusement park reopened earlier this month for its 120th operating year, now open for Spring Weekends through May 17 before daily summer operations begin May 21.
A visit to Hersheypark includes more than 50 rides with the most coasters in the Northeast and plenty of opportunities to indulge in their world-class decadent desserts. And now with new accommodations, a Hersheypark trip is even sweeter.
