Disneyland Resort’s seasonal celebration is in full swing, including festive décor, shopping, treats, and other holiday happenings in Downtown Disney.

More than 25 seasonal food and drink items are available across the Downtown Disney District, including holiday ice cream flavors like Gingerbread Cookie Dough, Peppermint Cocoa, and Spiked Eggnog Custard from Salt & Straw; a Mickey Mouse Holiday Crisped Rice Treat from Marceline’s Confectionery; a spiced Gingerbread Cupcake from Sprinkles; and Maple and Bacon Glazed Beignets from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen.

Adults may also want to sample a Mistletoe Mule from Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe (made with vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, ginger beer, and a sugared cranberry garnish) or a Candy Cane-Rita from Tortilla Jo’s (made with tequila, peppermint schnapps, organic margarita mix, a splash of grenadine, and garnished with rosemary and cranberries).

Now through Jan. 8, 2023, guests can enjoy an extension of the Disney Festival of Holidays called “Friends of the Festival,” featuring limited-time menu items at select Downtown Disney restaurants, including Tikka Masala Pizza from Naples Ristorante e Bar and Dulce de Leche Tamales from Tortilla Jo’s.

Downtown Disney is the perfect place to shop for Disney toys, apparel, home décor, and collectibles at World of Disney, Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, Star Wars Trading Post, and WonderGround Gallery.

Shoppers can also find unique holiday gifts like modern design products from Black creatives at Post 21, holiday pop-up cards at Lovepop, official World Cup gear at Pelé Soccer, the new Holiday Main Street set at The Lego Store, and Disney x Pandora holiday-style bracelet charms at Pandora Jewelry.

Guests can create a colorful garland inspired by Christmas/Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, and Kwanzaa at the Downtown Disney complimentary holiday crafts table near the Downtown Disney Live! Stage (available 11 a.m.-6 p.m. daily).

From 5:30-9 p.m. on Fridays-Sundays, Nov. 25-Dec. 25, 2022, the Downtown Disney Live! Stage features live holiday performances by Holiday Harmony, The Moonrays, and The Sugarplums.

Disney Ultimate Toy Drive

Last, but certainly not least, guests can participate in Disney’s longstanding tradition of supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program by donating a new, unwrapped toy to the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. Donation bins are located in the Downtown Disney District near World of Disney, at Star Wars Trading Post, and at the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort (donations accepted through Dec. 12, 2022). The U.S. Marines will also be on hand from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 10-11, 2022, near the Downtown Disney Live! Stage to accept donations.

Holiday happenings at Disneyland Resort Hotels

All three Disneyland Resort hotels are celebrating the season with themed Christmas trees, caroling performances, and visits from Santa Claus, but be sure not to miss the Disneyland Resort culinary team’s annual gingerbread house display in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – and the tasty treats at the Grand Californian Holiday Cart (including the extremely popular Mickey gingerbread cookies).

Also at the Grand Californian, limited-time holiday spa treatments are available from Nov. 25, 2022, to Jan. 2, 2023, at Tenaya Stone Spa, including the Candy Cane Lane Foot Treatment with a peppermint cocoa foot soak, scrub, and minty massage, and the Underneath the Tree Signature Massage, which combines customized massage techniques with the scent of fir, California lemon, wild mint, and eucalyptus. New this year, Tenaya Stone Spa gift cards are available, and the spa is open to non-hotel guests (reservations are highly recommended).
