“Chow Tai Fook has been working closely with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort […] producing exclusive products that have been well-received by our guests ever since the opening of our Enchanted Treasures store,” said Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Senior Vice President of Operations Tim Sypko. “The pure gold castle recreates the Castle of Magical Dreams, which symbolizes courage, hope, and possibilities. When people come to the park this Christmas, I’m sure coming seeing both the real castle and our gold replica will be at the top of their lists.”

It took more than 50 artisans from Chow Tai Fook — dubbed the “Royal Jewelers” for the castle’s keepsakes and treasures — 42,248 hours to perfectly recreate every detail in the 1:60-scale pure gold (24-karat) Castle of Magical Dreams, from Merida’s bow and arrow to Cinderella’s pumpkin coach and Belle’s enchanted rose.

The resort’s newest and most valuable collectible stands nearly three feet tall and two feet wide with a pure gold content as high as 8,692 grams (approximately 232 taels). The current valuation of the gold castle is around HK$16 million (over $2 million USD), making it a must-see for park guests. If owning the spectacular royal replica isn’t reward enough, the person who purchases the pure gold castle will receive a lifetime free admission pass to Hong Kong Disneyland.

“We are honored to continue our collaboration with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and create the first-ever Pure Gold Castle of Magical Dreams,” said Kent Wong, managing director of Chow Tai Fook Jewelry Group. “Combining innovative technology with traditional jewelry craftsmanship, this artistic gem is an important milestone for our Group and a cornerstone that celebrates our long-term alliance with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.”

If $2 million is out of your price range, Chow Tai Fook also created a limited edition 1:340-scale pure gold Castle of Magical Dreams ornament (about $21,500 USD) as well as an all-new Disney Princesses and Queens-themed jewelry collection, all of which are available exclusively at the Chow Tai Fook store in Hong Kong Disneyland.

The new collection includes a set of 12 pure gold Disney Princess coins (about $590 USD), with each coin featuring the portrait of Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, and Moana on one side and all engraved with the Castle of Magical Dreams on the other. The two-coin Elsa and Anna pure gold set (about $112 USD) has engraved portraits of Elsa and Anna on the front and the Castle of Magical Dreams on the back.

The Disney Princess Collection also includes five pure gold pendants (about $205 USD per design — excluding the necklace). Each pendant is inspired by the symbol for Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Rapunzel, or Tiana, and all are designed to “celebrate the new generation of courageous women who, like the Disney Princesses themselves, are not afraid to chase their dreams.”
