New Hooters on International Drive features updated, modern design
A new Hooters recently opened on International Drive with a fresh, new look and dining experience. It will serve as model for Hooters locations across the country.
“Hooters is proud to introduce the modern design enhancements to the Orlando community, as they are among the first in the nation to experience the new look,” said Mark Whittle, vice president of franchise development, Hooters of America.
The 7,800-square-foot space seats 310 guests with a variety of new design elements. There’s also a vast outdoor patio with additional seating for 60. One element fans will be sure to notice is the centralized location of the bar area, which offers a full range of liquor, beer and wine options. The restaurant is surrounded by a series of large, high-definition televisions for more clear lines of sight to guests’ favorite sporting events.
The building itself embraces a modern atmosphere, with a rustic undertone in order to maintain aspects of Hooters’ original beach oasis theme. The design features sleek finishes on the interior and exterior of the building, but there’s still a hint of the original architecture through the use of wood throughout the space.
In addition, the new Hooters location features the expanded full menu, offering even more salads, sandwiches, seafood dishes and other options for guests to enjoy. Of course, Hooters continues to serve its world-famous traditional and boneless chicken wings with Buffalo sauce favorites, ranging in heat from mild to 911, as well as signature sauces and rubs, such as teriyaki-style samurai, lemon pepper and chipotle honey.
The remodeled Hooters of I-Drive location is located at 8801 International Drive.
This is similar in layout to the redesign of their original location on SR60 in Clearwater. Large center bar, big patio, flatscreens. This is sleeker in design and looks pretty awesome, even a step above some BWW around the country. Love Hooters and this is a big step up for them. Cool beans.
