Orlando will get to experience the glamorous lifestyle of real-life speed racers at the country’s largest and most unique touring automotive lifestyle event series, Boost Mobile Hot Import Nights (HIN), from 5 p.m. to midnight this Saturday at the Orange County Convention Center
HIN Orlando will mark the seventh stop on HIN Events’ 12-city 2008 tour. More than 10,000 automotive and entertainment enthusiasts are expected to attend. The female rap artist and Miami native Trina will perform.
Proclaimed by Newsweek magazine as the “Lollapalooza for millions of hipster-hobbyists”, HIN features highly customized show cars, gorgeous models, live music and dance performances, all set in a stylized “lights-out” mega nightclub environment.
The show will feature almost 500 tricked out vehicles totaling over $20 million in value, ranging from Japanese to Euro and from high-end luxury to wild and exotic, and boasting the latest in aftermarket trends, tech gadgets and tuned performance.
Notable vehicles include:
• The Army National Guard “Citizen Soldier” 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe, designed by Sergeant Nicholas Ashby in tribute to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq
• The award winning 1000hp Turbo Lexus IS300 built by Ryan Ramnarain
• The sleek Bridgestone BMW wide body Z4 M Coupe by Canepa Design
• The NOS Energy Drink “Infamous” Lexus SC300 by Ernie Manansala
The Boost Urban Stage will feature break dancing showcases by Orlando’s best b-boys and b-girls and emcee battles hosted by Boost Athlete and BMX superstar Rick Thorne. You’ll also get to see Miss Maxim 2007, Florida native Erin McKinnon.
