New Scare Zone

As part of the third year for SeaWorld Orlando’s signature Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream will introduce Blood Light District, a new scare zone.

The park says of Blood Light District: “Those who walk the streets of this borough will tempt your deepest desires. You can fight their beckoning, but you will not win. Do not be fooled by their beauty and lust. Stay too long and you will be forever bound by blood.”

Nighttime Rides on Pipeline: The Surf Coaster

SeaWorld Orlando’s newest thrill ride, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, is currently celebrating its first summer of operation. Howl-O-Scream guests can enjoy nighttime rides on Pipeline, during which riders stand up and experience motions similar to surfing.

Pipeline joins Ice Breaker, Mako, and Manta as the roller coaster roster of Howl-O-Scream.

Returning Haunted House, Show, and Bars

Blood Beckoning, a favorite from last year’s Howl-O-Scream, will return as one of the event’s five haunted houses. It stars a bloodthirsty siren named Scratch.

Also returning is Monster Stomp: Slasher Alley, a show featuring Jack the Ripper.

Howl-O-Scream Orlando also hosts a collection of themed bars. Returning among them for 2023 are Longshoreman Tavern, Tormented, Poison Grotto, and Sirens’ Last Call, with themes ranging from pirates to the Arctic.

In the weeks to come, SeaWorld will announce a new bar joining this year’s lineup.
