Icon Park, formerly Icon Orlando 360, has announced that two new rides will be coming in 2020 – the Orlando Slingshot and the Orlando Gyro Drop Tower.

This Orlando destination will get two new thrilling rides in 2020.

Once built, the Orlando Slingshot will tower at 300 feet high above Icon Park. Riders will be catapulted 450 feet into the air, nearly 50 stories up! The Slingshot will feature dual loading, allowing guests to load into the ride while other guests are experiencing the attraction.

The Orlando Gyro Drop Tower will take riders up above the park’s skyline, with the ride reaching 400 feet in the air – meaning it will be the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower. The experience starts with a high climb as the ride gyrates around the tower until it reaches its peak. Riders will then experience a surprise twist before a 350-foot free fall back to Earth at 75 miles per hour.

“Icon Park is already known for having the tallest observation wheel on the East Coast and the world’s tallest swing ride. We’re beyond thrilled to add two more jaw-dropping attractions to our destination,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, president and CEO of Icon Park.
