On Sept. 12, 2013, “Orlando Attractions Magazine” hosted an event at Downtown Disney’s Splitsville which brought together many local theme park websites to bowl and raise money for Give Kids The World. We are happy to report that more than $20,000 was raised, which will help many children with life-threatening deceases and their families enjoy Orlando’s attractions.
Here’s a quick look at the event, which included a silent auction, a ’50s themed costume contest and appearances by Mayor Clayton from Give Kids the World Village and pro wrestler Scotty 2 Hotty. You’ll also see some special bowling challenges which were sponsored for donations:
We’d like to thank all the teams that made it out to “Have Fun for Give Kids The World:”
– Theme Park Connection (Blogger Bowl tournament winners)
– Mickey Updates
– Central Florida Top 5
– DIS Unplugged
– Theme Park Review
– Mouse Steps

We’d also like to thank Splitsville for working with us, Amazing Pictures for providing photography, DJ Elliot for the music, Jim Doyle for being the MC, and all the fans who donated money and came out to support Give Kids The World.
The event was such a success, we’ve decided it will become an annual event. Stay tuned for the date and make plans to attend. If you’d like to donate to Give Kids The World, the donation pages are still active at firstgiving.com/gktw/have-fun-for-GKTW
