Island H2O creates ‘endless summer’ with new events and half-off season passes
Island H2O water park in Kissimmee, Fla. extends summer’s fun-in-the-sun with three new events and a 50 percent savings on 2023 season passes, which include the rest of 2022.
The dog days of summer are winding down, but Central Florida’s weather lets the water park fun continue. With “endless summer” in mind, Island H2O has a new lineup of events and activities, all of which can be enjoyed with daily admission or the sale-priced purchase of a 2023 season pass.

Get in on the “Fall for Free” 50 percent off sale that includes:
- Entry into the water park for the remainder of the 2022 season and all of the 2023 season.
- Free “Friend Ticket” which can be redeemed in 2022.
- Free “Friend Ticket” which can be redeemed by May 29, 2023
- Free souvenir refillable drink bottle in 2023
- Free parking
Season passes are normally $109.99, but during the flash sale they’re available for $54.99, through September 5, 2022.
New “endless summer” events
Sip N’ Slide Beer Fest – Each Saturday in September water park guests ages 21 and up can enjoy four 10-ounce artisanal beers from Florida brewing companies for $25 ($20 for season pass holders). Sausage Shack Food Truck will be serving up food items that pair well with beer, such as the Bavarian pretzel with cheese, buffalo chicken cheese steak sandwich, BBQ pork sub with loaded cheese steak fries, and more. Enjoy it all while watching football games on the wave pool Jumbotron.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online, and brewing companies featured during the event are:
- Florida Avenue Brewing – Sept. 10
- Made by the Water Brands: Palmetto Brewing Company, Oyster City Brewing, and Catawba Brewing –Sept. 17
- Persimmon Hallow Brewing – Sept. 24
Mermaid & Pirate Weekends – On Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, kids can meet mermaids and pirates throughout the park, and have their photos taken; compete in challenges to win free ice cream treats; and watch pirate movies at the wave pool with friends and family. Free face painting, airbrush, and temporary tattoos are also part of the lineup for children.
Foam Party – Who doesn’t want the kid-forever joy of dancing in a mountain of foam and bubbles? The ultimate “endless summer” dance party happens in front of the Live! Lagoon Wave Pool throughout November, with a DJ spinning the latest tunes.
